My dad today had a question for me today: Was David Bowie punk?

Personally, I would say his music isn't, but as a person I think he was very punk. He wasn't afraid to be who he was, and for his time he was extremely progressive.

I wanted to see other people's opinions on it though, thoughts?

Finally posting this after writting it months ago, its inspired by the song Daddy Issues, by the Neighborhood!

The crashing waves could be heard as Remus sat on the beach, overcome by thoughts of Sirius. He was like a drug that he couldn’t get enough of, overwhelmed by the emotions he had about them, only getting stronger day by day. 

Every time Sirius would lay down on him either from exhaustion or just to talk, it was as if Remus could taste the exotic smell of his shampoo. 

As Remus was lost in thought, Sirius came out onto the beach. Sitting down next to Remus, he rested their head on his shoulder.

“What are you thinking about Moons?” He asked, a whisper in Remus’ ear. 

“That depends,” he started, not wanting to reveal the truth. “What are you thinking about?”

“I’m thinking about how beautiful the view is.”

“Well, I’m also thinking about that,” Remus tried to say smoothly, hoping Sirius wouldn’t pry more. 

At this point Remus was pleading in his mind that there was one thing that Sirius would tell him that he’d be able to forget; he would never forget a single word Sirius would say to him, and he knew that forever. If only then he was able to forget, he would be able to ask him to repeat it, it’s crazy what he’d do to hear his voice once more.

Only in the darkest moments is Sirius’ voice a sad thing to hear. Having to hold him, telling him it’s okay to cry is something that would always break Remus’ heart. 

Throughout Sirius’ sobs, it would always be clear as to what he was crying about, for Remus had heard his nightmares over and over again throughout their time at Hogwarts. 

In the night he could hear the rustle of bedsheets next to him with Sirius muttering under their breath, pleading to his mom and dad to stop. He would stay awake next to Sirius until he was able to fall asleep again, it’s crazy what he’d do for him. If Sirius asked him to run away with him, he’d do it in a heartbeat; if Sirius asked him to write his name in the rain, he’d try over and over again just to see him smile.

After all, memories are what life is in many ways.

nothing angers me more than when people make an antisemitic statement about Jews and tag it with antisemitism

oh, so it's "cool" or "fun" to be antisemitic??

Do you know what it's like for people to deal with that stuff daily? Don't proudly tag that statement and hide behind a screen. How about you go to a synagogue or go up to your Jewish friends and tell them what you just proudly posted online. You want to be proud of being anti-Semitic? Not around me. Block me, I don't care, take your horrible statements, and stay away from me and my people.
