Coziki Island
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Iki Island is the biggest island of a small archipelago west of Kyushu, South West Japan. Though it is part of the Nagasaki Prefecture, the shortest way to get there is taking the ferry from Fukuoka or Karatsu, Saga Prefecture.
On top of magnificent landscapes, the volcanic Iki Island is rich with ancient mythology and traditions which are a source of inspiration for Coziki Magazine, a publication that offers photography, cultural articles and manga series based on the island’s mythological characters.
Actress and model Komatsu Nana, whose father was born in the Saga Prefecture, went there in Spring 2019 to promote issue #2 of the magazine, a mag which is available either on the island itself or at cultural events throughout Japan.

In 2011, 15-year-old Komatsu Nana had been working as a teen model since she was 12. She often appeared in girl magazines such as Jill, Haco or Spoon.
She also shot a couple of music videos for J-pop bands Radwimps and Plenty as well as the short musical film called Shabondama. That year she became a brand model for Samansa Mos (SM2-Can Shop)

May Peace Prevail (2013)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Information is scarce about this pretty rare series called “May peace prevail on earth shot at some point in late 2013. You only get bits of info on Chinese and Korean pages (and some of them are gone). HQ or just real quality versions are also difficult to find. Those pics were taken by photographer Motohiko Hasui who worked with Komatsu Nana on several occasions after that session.
