diagram and further explaining in my pinned post
somewhat of a experiment
there are alot of different ways to go about packing binding tucking and padding and stuffing but the first tip i want to give out is addressing how some of these things are similar to others and how that can be useful
ill compare packers and breast forms first the two options ive seen the most are socks and silicone people use socks to stuff bras and socks to stuff boxers to get the right kind of bulge they want in those places and they also use prosthetics if they can get their hands on them soft silicone is used to make breast forms and packers and theres always a issue of how to actually keep all of these in place
with socks people sew pockets into the boxers to hold them and stuff them into bras with premade little pockets to hold foam pads also i know people crochet knit and sew packers and breasts to go into boxers and bras respectively with silicone i know there are breasts that are built to stick on but ive never seen anything like that with a silicone packer
i think it could work i know trans tape has a guide for using it to pack but that tape can irritate skin and it doesnt stick to silicone(ive tried) also you need a ring to stick the tape too to get that to work and thats just another piece another thing to buy that can be avoided also the ring is hard and if youre using a soft packer it wont look right through your boxers so what i would recommend for packing with a silicone packer is skipping a harness and using the type of adhesive used for breasts(im testing this soon to see if its an option, ill let you all know)
something else would be if tape is an option and silicone isnt someone could glue two pieces of the tape together nonsticky sides together to make double sided tape and then apply it with a fabric or crochet/knitted/sock packer(just make sure youre using non toxic glue in case it leaks and also of course wait until the glue dries and dont put it directly on genitals packers should be attached right above) i dont know about other tapes but trans tape has a almost fabric texture so i would try a fabric glue or something like a craft bond elmers glue stick ive used that on fabrics before just be sure to use enough and keep it under something heavy while it dries
lastly when using any kind of tape anywhere make sure your hair is trimmed it doesnt need to be shaved completely(i would NOT recommend shaving the area completely and then putting tape on it ouch) just trim so the hair isnt to long and doesnt get in the way ive tried this with athletic tape and trans tape and i have really coarse hair ive been perfectly fine but if you have senstive skin be careful and always remember to do a test strip before using tape on a larger area also athletic or trans tape not medical tape
i might edit later to make this more coherent ill also make a diagram to explain how to do these things safely later

Hey dad, do you know where I can learn queer sex-ed? It was entirely non-existent when I was in school, and as someone who is only recently coming out at 28, I have no idea what I'm doing...
Hey kiddo! Here's some resources that might help!
Hope those help!!

this is going to be the masterlist of recommendations that i keep updated
i just want to say ive crochet both of those patterns the boob one is way easier cause its a more basic shape but crochet isnt actually hard at all you just have to look up the little types of stitches(that is NOT what theyre called lol) its totally fine it just takes some patients you dont really need to know what youre doing as long as you can look it up(this just requires wifi and patients honestly or a really chill dude who can tell you how to do the the different loopy stitchy moves whatever theyre called)
also with crochet or sewed(im going to try and find sewing paterns for packers and breast forms) you can tape them on (use nipple covery things and dont tape directly on genitals ill explain all this next update)
packer free crochet pattern video tutorial one video tutorial two free knitted pattern silicone packer
breast forms free crochet pattern website with free pattern and videos
silicone adhesive this is what youd use for adhering silicone packers breast forms or other silicone things it makes a layer on the silicone to make it sticky so it stays and lasts a long long time (i had a walmart link and i ordered it and thought it would be that easy but no they had to ship it from China to get to my walmart in america and with all the storms ive been waiting so long :( im going to try to find a better link give me time) but its just this Breast Form Adhesive Prosthetic Adhesive its sold as that but it works for packers too cause theyre both soft silicone found another adhesive two links for this one (on the first link in the description it mentions it can be used for soft packers too which means someone else thought of that too :) ) theres also this but youd need to get the remover too so id recommend the other
tape ok so theres trans tape which is in a roll that you cut its 16.5ft per roll each size width is different the wider the more expensive three inch width 14.50, four inch width 16.00, fifth inch width 17.75, seven inch width 19.99 (also if you do a subscription thing you can save five percent if you want) they have and kt tape comes in rolls too uncut or precut(so many options and the site was so laggy this took forever to list holy fuck) the cut have about twenty strips 2x10 but the wide has ten strips 4x10 when theyre uncut its 16 feet 125 feet or 150 feet they also have waterproof options which implies the normal tape isnt waterproof i dont know if the sit sucks or if its just my connection but oh my god i have to go back and check prices on the next update the lag is kicking my ass https://transtape.life/pages/binding-with-transtape this page has instructional videos for binding with tape and other help and questions and stuff
do wanna specify before i go though dont put tape on your nipples if you need help just think if its the color of your nipple( more pink or brown or black then your skin tone) then its still nipple dont put tape directly there you dont want to accidentally tape the edges and hurt yourself trans tape comes with nipple covery things make sure theyre the right size if theyre not or if you dont have any you can make some cut out a piece of toilet paper or tissue the size of your entire nipple and then cut a circles a little bigger then your toilet paper stick the toilet paper on the sticky side of the circle and use it like a band aid to cover your entire nipple (i say toilet paper and tissue instead of using the back of more tape because it saves tape and the tape can be scratchy directly on really sensitive skin like a nipple so something soft like a square of toilet paper or a tissue works better) some places also sell reusable nipple covers and i dont see why you wouldnt be able to use a piece of soft fabric to do the same thing if you dont want to use toilet paper and dont use medical tape or ducktape or gaff tape ever there not made for this stuff too rigid to be safe
lastly trans tape is heat activaed so if youre struggling getting it off take a cold shower or get the area cold also oil helps(really any kind) dont tug or pull to hard if it doesnt come off wait get it colder and more oily and try again you dont want to hurt yourself you have to go slow and steady if you tug to hard and fast it will rip your skin even if you built a tolerance to the tape over time
and with tape its going to feel sticky and weird but if its to uncomfortabale i would stop and if your skin is breaking stop a little irritation happens but it shouldnt be over the level of what youd get with a band aid but if you rip to fast it will rip skin be careful with this guys
binders gc2b(specifically the 2.0 ones) this can be tricky id mainly recommend this to people who are thinner beacause compressing alot of tissue and fat or sensory issues or chronic issues can make it difficult gets you overheated pretty fast and it digs into the skin especially if theres sideboob or fat around someones shoulders and if they have a big stomach itll ride up and theres this rolled up fabric pressing on the bottom of their rib cage but also sometimes it does work so it depends on the person and you can always alter the binder or hem it to take care of these problems so id say make sure you measure correctly when picking a binder size up if you have to and if its still doesnt work then switch to tape because it doesnt compress your ribs also people mention having problems with their chest being pushed into the center and making this bump in the middle this can be solved by using tape not to bind with but just to anchor your chest in the right place so the binder doesnt squish it inward so use a anchor piece as if you were binding but dont make it tight just enough so your chest can be squished into your sternum that tape anchoring trick works for a dude i know whose got pretty big boobs so if it comes down it that might be worth a shot also if youre torso is short you can take an inch out the straps of the binder to shorten it to fit you(that helps with the bottom rolling up and pressing on your ribcage because then it wont have enough fabric to roll like that)
the next thing is theres been alot of talk about how gc2b which was the best binder has been down in quality since 2020 and that is true but they came out with new lines of binders and as long as you get one of the new lines its the same quality spectrum outfitters if i remember correctly doesnt bind as flat but would be the runner up and ive heard people say that ones more comfortable and people have the problem with their chest being pushed into the middle less
tucking they have ways to tuck using tape too but even using a gauze barrier like they recommend you have to tape the back end to something which is would end up being on your butt and that can get pretty painful so i wouldnt use the trans tape way for tucking also just dont use duck tape or medical tape gaff tape ever theyre not made for this stuff too rigid to be safe
this is what id recommend https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMfMAh7-RSU this video is good you need tights or boxers and socks or really any elastic band that fits your waist and a fabric tube that can fit your calf or forearm size but she explains it better so ill let her do it diagrams of what i talked about for everything under cut

these are for using tape or adhesives to stick on breast forms or packers i drew it all out hopefullt that helps with visual learning

ok i change my mind i want to talk some more but the harder silicone outside and softer silicone inside is ALSO hwo they make silicone boobs i dont know if they make breast forms like that but i do know that how they make boobs for movies and boobs for self examination thingys where like someone shows someone else how to check themselves for cancer by feeling certain spots in the boob(which can and should be done no matter what kind of boob you have anyone can get breast cancer and its good to check yourself) anyway so im pretty sure breast forms would be made the same way and like i said boobs are really similar to penises! in the world of packing and padding and also silicone theyre some of the only things that require such soft silicone that theyre made of the sticky silicone on the inside with one grade harder on the outside except organs but ive only ever seen someone make a heart theres alot more layering the heart because of all the detail in the veins and arteries and gross parts like that but i guess it depends on the organ not all organs have bulging veins and stuff like that anyway boobs and penises are way easier to cast and make then a heart because a heart has more little details and stuff like that that can easily broken with how fragile the soft silicone is i should link some silicone videos in case someone ever wanted to make their own boobs or penis they dont really tell you how these are made on the websites they sell you them what a shame i do know alot of the dick veins and coloring are hand painted though so thats cool
also this is totally like a rambling im tired and i wanted to talk about silicone silicones so cool guys feel freee to ask questions dont be afraid to ask anything if i dont know the answer ill go find it for you i like looking up this stuff i think its so cool
somewhat of a experiment
there are alot of different ways to go about packing binding tucking and padding and stuffing but the first tip i want to give out is addressing how some of these things are similar to others and how that can be useful
ill compare packers and breast forms first the two options ive seen the most are socks and silicone people use socks to stuff bras and socks to stuff boxers to get the right kind of bulge they want in those places and they also use prosthetics if they can get their hands on them soft silicone is used to make breast forms and packers and theres always a issue of how to actually keep all of these in place
with socks people sew pockets into the boxers to hold them and stuff them into bras with premade little pockets to hold foam pads also i know people crochet knit and sew packers and breasts to go into boxers and bras respectively with silicone i know there are breasts that are built to stick on but ive never seen anything like that with a silicone packer
i think it could work i know trans tape has a guide for using it to pack but that tape can irritate skin and it doesnt stick to silicone(ive tried) also you need a ring to stick the tape too to get that to work and thats just another piece another thing to buy that can be avoided also the ring is hard and if youre using a soft packer it wont look right through your boxers so what i would recommend for packing with a silicone packer is skipping a harness and using the type of adhesive used for breasts(im testing this soon to see if its an option, ill let you all know)
something else would be if tape is an option and silicone isnt someone could glue two pieces of the tape together nonsticky sides together to make double sided tape and then apply it with a fabric or crochet/knitted/sock packer(just make sure youre using non toxic glue in case it leaks and also of course wait until the glue dries and dont put it directly on genitals packers should be attached right above) i dont know about other tapes but trans tape has a almost fabric texture so i would try a fabric glue or something like a craft bond elmers glue stick ive used that on fabrics before just be sure to use enough and keep it under something heavy while it dries
lastly when using any kind of tape anywhere make sure your hair is trimmed it doesnt need to be shaved completely(i would NOT recommend shaving the area completely and then putting tape on it ouch) just trim so the hair isnt to long and doesnt get in the way ive tried this with athletic tape and trans tape and i have really coarse hair ive been perfectly fine but if you have senstive skin be careful and always remember to do a test strip before using tape on a larger area also athletic or trans tape not medical tape
i might edit later to make this more coherent ill also make a diagram to explain how to do these things safely later
