Finally done! My (rather cutting it super close) content entries for the @ihopesocomic character contest. I used the lineart the creators of the comic provided because they were super nice to use and well, art block is a bitch. (Also, text against n/f/t BS because I will NEVER consent to anything I make for that BS) This counts as two entries between the lioness and her leopon younger half sibling, and I really enjoyed making them. Except the spots, ho boy, I hate drawing spots. x_X Anyways, enjoy the art and the little tidbits on these two (Screech (Lioness), and Chatter/Caw (Leopon) below the read more!

Tidbits on Screech

-Freshly adult half sibling of Chatter/Caw, and basically the guardian of them -Birth name was Mudflow but changed it to Screech once she left her old life behind -Has the grace of a gazelle in hunting but the verbal tack of an acacia bush... basically a grouch with everything most of the time -Enjoyed pride life just fine in her and Chatter’s old home, but decided to leave (with Chatter as a unwanted tagalong) to find something else on the stretch -Her pride kept to themselves most of the time, not bothering with events of the outside world except accepting the occasional new King and outsider lions/lionesses when their numbers were low -Tolerated any leopards that hung around (as long as they stayed out of the way), but eventually, this tolerance led to Chatter’s existence (Same mother, different fathers) -Basically her sibling’s keeper, trying to prevent them from causing trouble/doing anything stupid, but it also works in reverse with Caw trying to get their sister to lighten up and be more adventurous

Tidbits on Chatter -Born out of a small fling between a leopard and pride lioness, Chatter was definitely unexpected as it was thought that neither cat species could interbreed... surprise surprise, they can! -Their birth name upon being born and until they left was Flash Flood/Flood, due to being such a surprise -Caw was tolerated within the pride, as they were still a member even with being a hybrid and their mother being side-eyed for even lying with a leopard -Could be easily described as the chaotic dumbass to their sister’s pessimistic grouch, even when they were young and extending to when they left -Chatter decided to join their sister in leaving as they wanted to stay with her, and wanted to also see the world outside of their small home (and well, they both needed each other anyways)

Decided to finally show y’all my versions of Fredbear and Spring Bonnie, with oc’s in the form of Spring Chica, Buccaneer Foxy, and the Diner Marionette! My dumb ass forgot to upload this. .-. Next gen AU stuff, Orcaverse, you’ve seen it before on this blog. XD Not as much info because I’m running on low steam.

More info under the cut:

1. Little rito’s name is Ezleth. I didn’t really base him off of any specific bird in real life, but went with a green coloration and some traits on some prehistoric birds (Pelogornis for the beak, and Archeopteryx for other traits), plus probably being a bit more suited for a warmer climate then what the Rito Village has for a cold climate. 

2. Life is pretty normal for this little dude, besides usually staying bundled up a lot in his favorite blanket, which acts also as a sort of comfort item for him and becomes a sort of cape as he gets older. His family while confused by his traits do love him though.

3. Like the last images, I left a little easter egg in the BG with an extinct animal. But this one is more of a mix between one member that still exists today and one that went extinct in the middle ages. Hint for the first one in the mix is that its name refers to its smell when males attract females, and sometimes called an ox in connection, and well, can be found in the cold arctics. The second one was a wild species of cattle before it went extinct, inhabited North Africa, Asia, and Europe, and is the ancestor of modern day domestic cattle.

But hey, I’m back with more! I think I finally came up with a name for this BoTW next gen/AU, called the Orcaverse. Because I’m uncreative as fuck. As it is an AU, some things will be changed around and all that, because AUs are a fun way to explore different things!

1. The little infant Goron in this image is Mati, another part of my BoTW au next gen, who is... currently looking at a lizard, to which both of them are pretty confused. XD I actually had some trouble with his design, but then I remembered that a certain fictional turtle kaiju exists and then it kind of just clicked, thus he’s pretty reptilian looking (and for good reason). The lizard, meanwhile is based on the desert iguana with a bit of collared lizard mixed in. Thankfully, the Scaledback Iguana (the little lizard in the image I came up with) is a herbivore and thus pretty chill. 

1.2 Meanwhile, Gorons in the AU are instead more reptilian (turtle/tortoise)/amphibian based then in canon. Because well, I can, and I thought it would be interesting to mess around with. Plus let’s be honest, reptiles and amphibians are like the MVPs of surviving a lot of shit that has been thrown at them for millions of years, so a mainly volcanic environment in a fantasy setting wouldn’t be that out of the question. I did keep them being pretty bulky and big though, plus the shelled backs and very white/blondish hair and presenting as mostly masculine in a majority of the population. 

2. Mati’s mom (What? A goron using female pronouns? Why not? XD) is named Kotorok/Norku who’s a bit of an outlier even for a goron. A little more water inclined (based on the Spiny Softshell Turtle), using more feminine pronouns, and having some rather eccentric interests and is mostly fine with being thought of as the weird one out. Though she doesn’t want the same for her son, and is mostly definitely on her way with Mati back home, though the occasional stop needs to be made.  3. Like the past images, I’ve put in some prehistoric (and extinct) animal easter eggs for ya! The first one in the sky is one you should be able to pinpoint pretty easily. ;D It’s name means “Toothless Wing” if you need a hint. The second one exists in the BG as more of a skull fossil and parts of a leg fossil, and likely is either extinct entirely or just extinct in Hyrule. As for some hints: This extinct cat is one of the largest felids known to have existed, a majority of this species’ fossils comes from the La Brea Tar Pits, and its name means “Cruel Panther” or “Fearsome Panther” in latin. All though, it is more commonly known as the american (possible) relative of the king of the jungle.

Still no name on this next gen/au BOTW verse, because I am a creativeless hack, I suppose, but it’s back again! I’m on a roll and this was the first one finished but I decided to go back and add in another extinct animal easter egg like the previous one, so fuck it. 

Yes, this is Sidlink related, because I ship those two nerds like FedEx, and browsing @nakklepiggy‘s sidlink art gave me the push to go forward with it.
