i’m here to say every time i read your mydei fanfic “cross my heart (hope to die)” my heart always arches and there are tears in my eyes, like literally tears. it’s a mix of cuteness (at first) then the rests are absolutely angst, which i didn’t prepare for i thought it was a love promise mydei made to reader and he would do it later TvT my english isn’t enough to describe how painful it is too me, and i’m not exaggerating to say it’s like u breaking up with your loved one and your heart got scattered pieces by pieces. it just hurts, so much, and i read it every single day.

He doesn't belong among the dead or the living. Castorice looks at him like he's an anomaly, because he knows. His hands have knocked on death's door time and time again, and it never opened for him.

He doubts it ever will. Castorice never meets his eyes.

Mydeimos has learned from the past, taking his experience and applying it for the future that he knows he'll live to see. If everyone around him is doomed to agony, then he will keep to himself. If he is destined to walk a path paved from the bodies of his loved ones, comrades, teachers, and kingdom, then he will build walls as tall as the gods he worshipped.

He'll stay by his lonesome, where he can't hurt anyone else. Where no one else can hurt him. The only touch that he delivers is that of death, a warrior's farewell, from the tip of his spear.

Mydeimos has always fared himself a strong warrior. He didn't know his defense could crumble so easily, in such a short time, by just a mere touch from you.

Then again, he is a warrior of Castrum Kremnos, once thought to be undefeated, crumbling under the touch of a god, and he thinks you're a deity.

When you touch his cheek, Mydeimos feels warmth course through his body. It's a different kind of fire ─ not so much the adrenaline he gets during battle. It's a softer, kinder, gentler fire. It doesn't swallow him whole, it blooms slowly, leaving curious tingles where your skin ends and his starts.

When he leans his head to your touch, he feels rejuvenated. He thinks back of the lessons he had as a child ─ this must be what the gods feel when they drink ambrosia. A sweet sensation he wishes would last forever.

When he takes your hand in his, he feels something he rarely has the chance of holding ─ life. Your pulse, blood coursing through you. You're here, whole, with your warm smile and soft words.

Mydeimos' hands are rough. They've wielded spears, taken countless of lives, and crawled back from death. Yet, when he wraps his arms around your frame and pulls you closer to him, he hopes that it can convey the things his pride would never allow him to say:

I love you, please stay.

Phainon ➤ vlogs, irl streams

Phainon loves traveling and talking to people, which makes him the perfect irl streamer. he has a large following due to the fact that he's so polite and friendly to everyone, but somehow his streams always go wrong in the funniest, murphy's-law-esque way

he's streaming in a restaurant and reviewing the food and the next moment a waiter trips and spills a water jug right to his camera and lowers the video quality for the rest of the stream

or he'd be doing a grocery run and the things that he wants are all gone, and he has to ride the bus to the grocery store that's further away, and the bus would blow a tire in the middle of the highway so now he's hungry and stranded with no groceries

these somewhat harmless, silly and unexpected situation keeps his viewers entertained, and the fact that he's always so optimistic about it has viewers donating to his streams to cheer him up whenever something goes wrong

his mods are so protective of him that if anyone starts trolling they'd be banned in an instant

when he first met you, it was by chance, and you don't recognize him (he's a niche even on streaming sites; his fans gatekeep him because they don't want people trolling this nice boy)

he falls in love with you immediately, and it's so obvious by the way he talks about you on stream.

"chat, there's this person," he lays the camera down on the counter and starts unloading his groceries. "and they're so... like... I don't know how to say it. they're so pretty, but also so scary to talk to, but it's not because they're mean or anything, I think it's a me problem. do you guys ever feel like that about someone?"

of course, his chat teases him relentlessly about his newfound crush

once he finally has the guts to ask you out (someone sent him a super donation telling him to, and he feels bad not doing it), you say yes, and he's over the moon.

he introduces you to his chat, and even though you're a bit confused and new to all of this, your personality balances out with Phainon's so well that his community can't help but love you

he doesn't film all your dates; in fact, he rarely ever does. whenever you're on stream, it's because you're both spending time chilling or cooking or doing grocery runs together. he likes to keep a small portion of his life private, and he doesn't want you to feel like you're a tool for his moneymaking scheme.

overall, he's such a nice understanding boyfriend, and if having a camera around you is too much then he'll respect your space and schedule his streams around days that he'll spend alone so he can have you all to himself without any distractions.

Mydei ➤ fighting games, tourneys

you can't convince me this man isn't some sort of fighting game god, particularly tekken, mortal kombat, smash, or something in the likes

he'll spend hours just 1v1-ing randoms on the internet, and he's got his friend code public for anyone who wants to try to challenge him.

this obviously brings a lot of traction because there are a lot of tryhards who want to test if Mydei's the real deal (he is, and he does so while talking shit and not breaking a sweat)

fans enjoy his straightforward, no-bullshit commentary (roasts) while he destroys players with a straight face. it's almost comedic how such a stoic man could have such a petty personality, and chat always teases him for it, but he could not care less (whatever brings in the bag)

"Get out of here if you can't even jablock, man. All that big talk for you to not even take a stock from me is just embarrassing," he spits out. "You're so mean, he's trying his best, yeah, sure, chat. He should try his best recovering from the sauce I'm about to do to him."

he'll sometimes do irl streams when he's in tournaments. he'll do a hotel tour (begrudgingly, because he keeps getting donations forcing him to do it)

he's by no means funny because he tries to be. people just find his mean commentary and resting bitch face amusing, and he's also good looking, so he has a lot of fangirls

he's been in a relationship with you since before he started streaming. matter of fact, you were the one who suggested streaming (because if he's going to spend that many hours on something might as well try to make money from it)

you often walk in on him while he's in his man cave, and you'll stay a bit to chat with him or interact with the chat

if his fangirls are mean to you, they get banned immediately ("MODS!!!! GET THEM THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!!!")

he's very proud to call himself your boyfriend. Whenever someone tries to flirt with you in chat, he'll have a quip comeback of some sort about how they can try but you're in a very healthy, very secure relationship

he is unfortunately the type of streamer to have lots of tiktok edits to chase atlantic songs (iykyk)

but he'll only repost his fan edits shipping him and you <3

Mydeimos is a warrior, through and through. If one speaks ill of him, he will talk back with his strength. If someone throws him a punch, he will return the favor tenfold. This is the way of the Castrum Kremnos, for as long as he knows it. Violence and power and gore, all the things that make his homeland that much more a tragedy.

Aglaea warned him that the path as a Chryosis Heir is not an easy one to trek, but he's come to terms with this; life has never been kind to him, for as long as he fights for the remnants of his past. Castorice advised him to stay away from death as much as he can, but he pays this no mind; death will never accept him, for as long as he stays undying.

But you, you're the one thing he could never predict. Mydeimos thought he could never love, but you easily proved him wrong, and he's never been more grateful to admit defeat to himself. You're the bliss that he's never felt, the peace that he never had.

Mydeimos is lying on the grass with you, looking at the stars as you explain them to him, gushing excitedly about a world outside the stars that your ancestors spoke of. Even when Aglaea told you to keep your findings hidden, you cannot keep your excitement from Mydeimos, knowing that all of your secrets are safe with him.

Knowing that you are safe with him.

Mydeimos is a protector. He's fought to protect his people, his pride, and his lover. But when things don't go as planned, Mydeimos is a harbinger of revenge.

He'll fight gods to avenge his people. And when it comes to you,

He'll burn the world with the bodies of those who wronged you.

The sky is dark, as if it weeps for you. You rush outside to find your lover in the middle of the chaos, a mix blood and bodies and rubble alike piling around him. You look at the face of your fallen comrades, people you once knew, people you once laughed and cried with.

Then you look at him in horror, because even though you know the violence dwelling in him, you also know the soft touches, the careful words, the aloof consideration. That's been the man you loved, for as long as you knew.

He looks at you like you're a deity, because you are in his eyes. He worships the ground you walk on, so different from his. You do not need to bathe in blood to find home, you do not have to stain your hands with the body of a god to be one.

Mydeimos is a man who reeks of death. He cannot control the fire that burns within him; the anger, the adrenaline, the fear, all mixing into a blazing sun that swallows those around him.

But he is yours, for as long as you'll have him.

The soft glow from the fireplace illuminates the vast living room of the manor. The crackle of fire mixed with the occasional sound of page turning brings a warmth to the room where the red haired man occupies the too-big couch alone.

Adelinde watches as her master glances uneasily from the book to his lap, then to the grandfather clock slightly away from where she stood. The time reads past midnight. Usually, she'd be asleep by this time, but years of having served under the Ragnvindr name made her restless if she hadn't made sure her master has retreated to his room to rest. And tonight, sleep seemed to be the last thing on Diluc's mind.

She lets out an amused chuckle, and Diluc's head snapped towards her.

"You're up late, Adelinde," he starts, placing the bookmark between his pages that Adelinde is sure he's barely read half of, what with his focus towards the ticking clock.

"I could say the same to you, Master Diluc," she smiles, her tone devoid of malice but with a hint of teasing. "Are you still waiting for the Madam?"

Diluc clears his throat, looking away from Adelinde to place the book on the coffee table before him. "She did say she's returning today. Well, yesterday, since it's past midnight."

"No need to worry, Master Diluc. Elzer made sure to send a carriage to pick her up, equipped with several capable fighters," she reassures. Diluc turns his head away, the dull orange glow on his face now contending with a brand new pink.

Adelinde can't help but let out a giggle. Diluc clicks his tongue in annoyance — not to Adelinde, but as his own incompetence of hiding his blush.

"What's so wrong about waiting for my wife to return?" Diluc whispers softly, eyeing the fireplace in front of him.

"I haven't said anything, Master Diluc," Adelinde smiles politely. "It is not wrong. In fact, I think the Madam is lucky to have a very loving husband."

Diluc pointedly ignores Adelinde in favor of hiding his now burning face. He sighs, questions flooding his head — are you safe? Are you warm? Are you hungry? Maybe he should have Adelinde prepare a small meal for your return.

A thousand thoughts run through his head, only interrupted when the heavy oak door creaks open. Diluc immediately rises from his seat to beeline to the entrance of the manor, and in his focus, he misses Adelinde hiding her chuckle.

Elzer enters first, holding the door open while you exit the carriage. Upon seeing you, all safe and whole, Diluc heaves a sigh of relief and waits for you by the door.

The smile that you wear when you greet him is heavenly, and your voice calms him like no lullaby could. "I'm home, Love."

Diluc carefully pulls you into his embrace, burying your face in his chest. Your body is cold; it must've been the wind, the chill's been picking up recently. He should've brought you a thicker jacket, a better scarf, he thinks.

You stay in this position until you're muffling for him to let you go, lest he crushes your airflow. Diluc reluctantly pulls away and kisses your forehead, and you can't help but giggle at the man.

"Welcome home."
