God ok I KNOW sometimes it is not the case and everyone and their grandma on the brush post is saying that brushes won't make you better but here's the deal: sometimes they do. Straight the fuck up man and I know bc it's happened to me!!!

Like, I used one specific brush for a long time for lineart bc it's what I found that I was most comfortable with for literal years, but I had a rly hard time doing details with it. and then eventually, I switched to the one I use now and the change was BIBLICAL. Like, I cannot express how much my art improved with this change. Suddenly I was a lot more accurate, and did so many more details than I previously could. And this wasn't my knowledge improving, this was my TOOL improving!!!

I know people mean well when they say brushes wont make you better but THEY CAN!!! THEY DO!!! You could totally hate lineart or shading until you find THAT specific brush that enhances ur skills. You could be unknowingly being held back by a brush you currently use. Who knows!! What I wanna say is sometimes changing really does improve what you do.
