◤❀Cнαrαcтer'ѕ Sтυdy: ✿◢

➤ Below are Nova's magic / powers. Not her skills, nor abilities she could do, which is going to be a whole different post.

Please keep in mind that her magic can and will be changed to fit certain verses and the magic system as well as not all of her magic can be featured. If we are putting her in my book universe or anywhere that all of her magic can be featured, then, yes, this can apply to that universe.

Lightning / Electric manipulation: Nova is capable of manipulating both lightning and electric around her. This can apply to sending down a bolt of lightning at her opponents or even getting up close and personal to send electricity up and down the body. The damage is quite shocking (all pun intended) as well as deadly, especially if she's not careful enough. Careful being close to her if she charges up or near an opponent as she doesn't exactly have control over when it bounces to the next person close by or perhaps an item. You can tell when she is charging up too by the way the hairs on your arms and the back of your neck will go up. The more powerful the charge is, the more you can feel it. This can be quite destructive to items or even anything running with electric.

Technology manipulation: Nova is capable of manipulating the technology around her. Ranging from hacking into it by a mere touch to disabling the technology to even summoning technology and data to her advantage. Think of how Sombra (Overwatch) and Pixels (the movie) works with these kind of things. You basically got Nova to do this.

Necromancy (and anything featuring the undead): Nova is capable of communicating with the undead. She is also capable of raising the dead to her advantage, though she will only use those that consent to want to come back. She doesn't like to raise the dead against their will and it is rare she will do this.

Magic cancelation: Much like any other Record Keepers, Nova is capable of canceling out any magic as long as it's not divine, deities, or eldritch's magic. She could only use this for so long before she become exhausted. While her focus is quite sharp and can last a bit, she is only human and eventually will have her focus falter. In other meaning, she can't always keep up with multiple magic coming at her and canceling it out.

Enhanced strength / endurance / speed: Much like any other Record Keepers, Nova does have a bit more strength, endurance, speed, and a few other things than an average human. It doesn't mean she is invincible. She can and will fall, especially since she is only human.

Cornelius is one of the major characters in Uncharted Legacy. He's the brother-in-law to Nova and the husband to Clay.

Cornelius isn't exactly a human, despite his appearance. He is actually a clone meant to replace the wealthiest incase their children ends up dead and they couldn't afford to have their reputation be ruined. A program was created many years prior to the program, though it discontinued after running out of funds. As of a result, any remaining clones suffered from side effects due to the lack of resources to keep up their existence.

Due to being raised within a wealthy family and, later, forced to fight for someone (acting as both their blade and shield), Cornelius can come off as ruthless while talking. Brutal and mean as well. He puts up an act to draw people in, which these acts can and will be shaped into what is deemed necessary for certain situations. Such as acting all nice to have people lower their guard before attacking. His vulnerable and softer side is rarely seen, though one way to get to it is being caring regardless of how he treats someone.

❲Further information❳:

Cornelius - much stated above - is a clone. He was created by a program to help the rich and anyone within the upperclass. Mainly to help with any families in case their children or even any family members dies and can't afford risking having said information to be leaked out. It's supposedly to protect their reputation.

Obviously, Cornelius is no different. Much like any other clones, he isn't made to be aware of such things until he became an adult. Right after he made a deal with someone and now has to commit crimes for this guy. Aka he became a criminal because of this, going from robbing, stealing, and murdering people for payment and to get out of the contract he is in.

The only reason why he found out about who he is as a person is because when he was traveling on an adventure with a bunch of people, he encountered the actual Cornelius. The real one hated everything about him and even demanded to kill him, though it ended up where the real one got killed instead by another force.

Due to the program loooong shut down to the funds running out or so it has been claimed, Cornelius couldn't be kept up in keeping his body going. Him being a clone was never suppose to last this long. Between that and the actual Cornelius dying, it ended up causing him to have side effects. Such as unable to stand within sunlight.

Since he was found out to be a clone, he moved to Erysea. To further protect him, Clay did a whole fake marriage to keep him protected. Something that is unnecessary yet it worked in the end.

Thoughts raced through Nova's mind, trying to piece together what she could say in these types of situations. Even years of having to fight here and there, no words could be put together. Sometimes people can be like that, pulling first and another having to act out in self-defense. Sometimes the story itself could be a lie and someone found themselves guilty.

Nova couldn't possibly say such things out loud, given it could mean she found the other in a lie. If it is a lie. Another conflict she didn't want to issue right now. Details could be spared for now.

I confess that as the final Sun of the year sets, so too do I fear that it will set on my time with this hobby ( now a malignant habit ). To you, my friend, I cannot leave in due conscience without offering a few words; spare me a moment, then. I remember our paths had crossed by sheer happenstance, and I think myself all the better since. You have given me nothing but joy; the stories we made, the once-in-awhile moments of company we shared— Either and all, they made my experience worthwhile. Thank you, my friend, thank you, from the bottom of this wither-weary heart.
