"no, I don't need a Romeo to write a poem but a Hades to take me in his arms."

Pools of redemption
I could never fathom ever again
believing in magic
until I saw them,
your big brown eyes
that smiled
with such a bright shine,
like the sun reflecting in
the water of a pool, forest-hidden,
that lavished me, finally,
right before a
miserable surrender
to the ghosts, and the satyrs
that hunted me down
without mercy
at the time when I could still get lost
in the darkness of the forests
that make up
my world of thought;
you gazed at me
and released me with
those big brown eyes
staring shyly,
revealing the only heavenly gates
I would evermore believe in.
