[Announcement] Semi-Hiatus

Greetings, Starlights!

The admins at StarlightStation are very sad to announce we will not be very present for Chained Up promotions. Our Tumblr will be placed on hiatus for this comeback season, and our active resources such as replies and updates will be very infrequent.

Please consider following us on [Twitter], our currently active platform. Brief updates, tips, and messages from our admins will be posted there.

In the mean time, we recommend checking out the other amazing VIXX support resources-- @fyeah-vixx​ and @vixxsp​. Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding. We will see you soon~

VIXX LR has gotten their first win for their debut with Beautiful Liar! We are incredibly happy for VIXX LR, and we hope to see more wins in the future. And of course, we could not have done it without your help. Thank you for streaming the MV and tweeting The Show among all other things!! Keep doing these things! Sorry about that, but the admins are not on the blog when most of the music shows air. But definitely look out on Twitter and other social media platforms for texting. Also, if you hear the word “tupyo (too-pyoh)” and a message with some numbers across the bottom along with the hosts reminding you about the nominees, it’s time to vote.

Should we tweet The Show multiples times a day or just once? And do we have to include words before and after each hashtag? Thanks.

You can and should tweet the show multiple times per day, and as far as we can tell, you do not have to add words between the hashtags, but if you want to be on the safe side you could.

hi! i like your blog but lately i have seen hellovixx on twitter. they says they have talked to music shows officials about gaon and the sho and such talking that 3 shows don't use twitter any more for points. i am confused. i saw this tweet _hellovixx/status/634822352828628992

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but how does Todou count views? Is it like Youtube where the video needs to be in HD and the volume up? Or is it different bc it is a different system? Thank you

As far as we know, Tudou does not have the same system as YouTube. So you could get away with not watching it in HD and refreshing the page over and over. Tudou is still brand new to us and any new information we might uncover will be sent your way. Also, remember to watch the MV on Tudou through this link. Just click the orange button next to VIXX LR, and it will bring you to the video which you need to stream for The Show.

I would like to make a correction, and Captain Niah has already taken note of this and corrected it. The hashtag for the The Show is #더쇼 and not #다쇼. We are very sorry for this mistake and any trouble it might have caused.

[Announcement] The Show

We have updated our tutorial for The Show to help you tweet and vote! You can find the link to the tutorial for The Show HERE. 

Here is what we’ve added:

Tweeting The Show is different and is not like how we usually tweet. From the day after The Show airs to the Monday at 12PM KST before it airs again, you need to create a tweet that has the following: @SBS_MTV, #더쇼, and #빅스LR. That’s all you need. There are no conditions other than what must be included in the tweet. Also, retweets do not count for anything so just make the tweet and move on. You can do this at any time, but we recommend that you might do it during the hashtag hour. 

You can find VIXX’s official Tudou channel [HERE]. As far as we know, there are no stipulations on video views like YouTube. Because of this, to get views you can just refresh the page. Also make sure to get to the music video through this page [HERE] scroll down to the chart, and click the orange button next to VIXXLR. It will open a new tab which will play the music video. There are no restrictions to this either, so you can click the button as many times as you’d like. You’ll just have to wait a few seconds for the tab to load before you exit out of it.
