Description: In short, their dad isn’t the greatest. He went on a tour of the UK and Ireland in his youth, making babies with at least two women. But he only brought one home to Starlight Oaks, married her, and she was Nixon and WC’s mother. His other son, their half-brother, Jack, was abandoned by degrees over time. WC was the apple of their dad’s eye growing up, though, the ‘perfect son’ (whatever that entails as we plot), Nix couldn’t stand it and left as soon as possible, getting married and moving halfway across the country. WC will have a unique relationship with both siblings who are in play!

Description: This is the person that Banks got in a fight over, protecting them and is their person and has been for a year or so previous to him getting locked up. They're the one that got hurt, lost him to the sentence, and then is there again when he gets out. We can plot if they're in a good space or not, if they need to reconnect again or if they're someone that held onto their friendship over the years that he was gone. There can also be some background tension to them if they've crossed those lines of being best friends to something more or even just more like siblings than friends, because I'm very open to plotting out one avenue or the other.

Description: Banks was adopted when he was around 13 years old, it could have been younger because it can be flexible to a few years when it comes to how old/when he was adopted. Basically, he was in placement for a few years since he was a kid, bouncing around and found one that he thought would stick and it didn’t, then he was placed here and it was home for him. His one significant foster home was when he was 11. We can plot out if it was a couple or a single parent, someone who fostered him and became a family. They were big on helping him with his anger issues but when he got locked up, he was the one to cut ties essentially and hasn’t been home since he got out. There’s a lot of potential for guilt, angst, love, etc.

He is trying to stay on the straight and narrow and this person is basically HIS person at the station. They're the one that's taken him under their wing and attempting to stay as a good influence in his life, help him beyond work, and keep him moving forward rather than to keep looking backward.

Description: Amara’s relationship with her ex-fiancé is a long one – they were together for several years, and had even recently gotten engaged. And whether it was fear, or some other inexplicable feeling, she ended up leaving him behind. He hadn’t wronged her or hurt her, but when she made the decision to move back to Starlight Oaks, she didn’t want to force him to give up his life in London for her… so she made the decision for him. She handed him back the ring, and left. I’d say there were a lot of things left unsaid, and they never really got any closure. If you bring him in, I’d say their future is very much up in the air. After all, she abandoned him – and he has every reason to hate her. Though, I figure, if he’s in Starlight Oaks too… he’s not just there for the views.
