Voice Actors Needed for Diverse Cast in Indie Game

Hi everyone! Dyscordion here. We are looking for voice actors to voice a diverse cast of characters in an upcoming space adventure RPG we are developing.

What is it?

Second Star is an all-new first person space adventure RPG in development from Dyscordion Entertainment. In Second Star, you play as Dr. Lee, the scientist of the Persistence more than 200 years in the future. You, along with a crew of 5 humans and 1 artificial intelligence, have been tasked with finding the Second Star, an exploration space vessel missing for 10 years. Players who enjoy games with character dynamics like Mass Effect but prefer a more exploratory, “adventure-game” approach (as opposed to combat) should definitely check out Second Star.

Since the game is fully voiced, we are looking to cast voice actors for the various characters who will appear in an upcoming free demo we will be releasing in the near future. The roles for this demo are volunteer/unpaid, however if the actor fits the role very well we will offer a paid contract for the actor to voice the character for the entire game.

As part of our mission is to bring a diverse cast of characters to players, we would love to find some equally diverse VAs to play them. However, the most important thing is that the VA is able to perform the role so that the character feels real to the player.

I’m very sorry to hear about what’s been going on with your family and then with your health.  You’ve done a marvelous job organising this event and it’s been something I look forward to every time it comes along. I would also be willing to assist and will put out the call in the Swan Queen communities I’m part of to garner further support.  Swan Queen has an enormous, diverse and dedicated fanbase so I have no doubt we can come together to help you run events or, if you need to step fully away for a while - please do whatever you need to keep yourself healthy - we’ll organise a way to keep Swan Queen Week going. Thanks for sending this message. It’s not going to be happening this year. I took some time off last year because of a family tragedy but due to personal health concerns, I can’t do it this winter either. And doing it during the summer tends to interfere with Supernova. 

The truth is, I had help the two years it ran smoothly since I took over. But my partner in crime stepped away. And unless I get some help, I’m afraid there won’t be any more SQ Weeks.

New Sitcom Idea

A lesbian couple gets a shocking surprise one day when God (played by Laverne Cox) shows up at their door. Upset at how humans had turned her message of love and acceptance into a message of hate and discrimination, she decides it’s time to send Jesus back to earth and wants the lesbian couple to raise Jesus. Hilarity ensues.
