I do not want this to give tr4nsphobes the wrong message. I just wanted to represent two sensations: pain and freedom. It’s hard to be real when people are always using your life as a political weapon. But I want to tell a realistic story for once. We are used to see gender affirming surgeries as a goal, something that makes you happy and free, and it’s true! But it doesn’t end here. Changing is a long and difficult path sometimes and even if it’s the best decision I’ve ever made, it’s not that easy.

I was so scared of surgery yet I still did it because I couldn’t bare with my chest. I would’ve ripped it off with my nails if I could, but the solution was there. I LOVE myself, I LOVE having no chest dysphoria anymore, I would never go back and I can finally breathe now. The freedom I feel is indescribable, my body feels more like home. But scars are not as good looking as I wanted them to be, discomfort is still here and post-op was painful and hard.

I just wanted to say that feeling this way is normal, it’s not all rainbows even if we all expect it to be, it’s still a big change and humans are complex. I needed to say this to myself first as I still have my ups and downs, I know there are no finish lines and it’s just life. I don’t care if illiterate people will weaponize this, I didn’t undergo a major surgery and nights in pain for nothing. That was a phase, being trans is not. IT WAS WORTH IT.

It is a good pain after all.

I'm only saying this for your sake, but objectively, it's not a smart idea to bring politics into normal hobbies. You might lose supporters of your blog just because of your political stance, and that would be terrible since you're so amazing!! I actually made this ages ago, but it got lost in the abyss of my Tumblr drafts (and in the ADHD chaos that is our household). So much time has passed, the ear notch on Lutz is even different now! 😂

Still super hyped about it though—I finally printed it out for my sibling so they can bring Felt Lutz to life! I’ll share the finished doll once it’s done, but had to show off the pattern in the meantime~ >w<
