Translation: Kanye, fucking stop saying you made Taylor famous, her album had sold 7 mil copies to get nominated before you even knew who she was.  She’s not going to allow you to call her a bitch.

Translation: yes there was a phone call but he wasn’t asking for her approval.

In the last few days, there have been 3 major terrorist attacks that have gone hugely unreported by mainstream media: 

June 28th - Ataturk Airport Attack, Turkey - 45 dead, 238 injured

July 2nd - Dhaka Cafe Attack, Bangladesh - 22 dead, 40 injured

July 3rd - Baghdad Shopping Mall Attack, Iraq - 130 dead (the death toll so far), over 160 injured 

All in Muslim-majority countries. All during the Holy Month of Ramadan. And all committed by ISIS. 

And yet people still have the audacity to claim that “all Muslims are terrorists”, or paint those in the West as terrorism’s biggest victims.

i agree with you! calvin has a very bad record with relationships and obvious commitment issues, yet everyone in this fandom chose to ignore that by saying "but he's changed" like that ever happens. he started dating her to "try her out", got bored, used her to promote his song and broke up. i don't give a damn if he was mature or nice about it cause that doesn't really matter when our queen is crying herself to sleep again and getting dragged to hell by sexist media while he gets off easy.

I don’t think he got with her to try her out or just to promote the song at all. I think he genuinely loved her. I think it faded for him. I think he didn’t want to tell her because he didn’t want to hurt her, but he drug this out longer than it needed to go, not realizing that it would hurt her more to be with someone who was obviously not feeling it anymore. Of course they’re going to be mature and nice in the public eye. I’m not sure what people don’t grasp about the concept of PR. Taylor will never, and has never (aside from that one time when she was 17) publicly dragged an ex, and she never will. Her music speaks for her. I’m not saying it was a messy break up. I’m sure it WAS mutual, but the terms of a mutual break up are not what everyone seems to think every single time. He faded. You can’t hold on to someone who is no longer all in. 

That isn’t why I’m angry with him. I’m angry with him for dragging it out. I’m angry at him for all the times we collectively defended his behavior in this fandom. He looked bored at iHearts and we all denied it, but we knew he did. We saw what we wanted to see, we twisted it into whatever we wanted it to be. “I’m smiling” at Baldi’s.  The car candids where we were like “hahaha he’s singing! she looks so grumpy! Hahaha!” when they were probably arguing, when he actually looked angry, or smug, and she looked pissed as hell. The Hunting Season snap we were all SO quick to defend before anyone even SAID shit about it. We all jumped on that before anyone accused him of anything because we KNEW it was sketchy. We KNEW it was wrong. We KNEW he shouldn’t have posted it. The list goes on and on and on. 

And now he’s smiling in candids. I’m not one to say he should be moping around sad and crying all the time. But did you really have to smile for paps today when 9/10 you looked like you were ready to slit their throats for the majority of your relationship? 

I’m mad at him because Taylor deserves all of the love in the world and I am so glad that he gave that to her for the time that he did, i’m so glad she finally had someone who was PROUD of her, but he did drag this out, and I am sad for her.

I was not a fan of Calvin before Taylor was with him. I didn’t care about his music, I didn’t care about him. I cared about him because she cared about him, she loved him, and he treated her well. I trusted him with her, I loved him because he loved her. He convinced her to give love another shot when she swore off of it and then he broke it off and he’s smiling in candids while she’s in hiding somewhere. 

It rubs me the wrong way. I will always be on Taylor’s side. This fandom can continue to defend him, but I’m out.

Random thoughts

Someone said this today: "I can always keep running away from things I hate" Well, don't he think that he'll be tired and sick of it? Don't you think that thing that we hate sometimes have a beautiful meaning behind it that we can't see until we reach out to it? It could be something wonderful that you've never seen before called lessons. Also sometimes, running away from 'things that I hate' thing can damaged you by missing out an opportunity. Because you always blocked yourself with your ego, and will not realize that you might miss opportunity to seek for new experiences.
