Soule is drowning in the watery wasteland, but eternity girl is here to remind him of the tomorrow that exists (aka, the world isn't going to end). I slightly changed Soule's outfit colors to help him contrast better with eternity girl (also to make him look like he's becoming one with the abyss)

Doom's Week Day 1: Sacrificial Summoning Gone Wrong 💜❤️

( Finally, my favorite week of the year!! Doom's Week!! Every year, I like to do this thing called Doom's Week, which is a full week leading up to April 18 that is solely art and edits for the Doom's Night animation, one of my favorite contents from txt!! I will only post my art here, so it's not a full week since I'll skip the days I have my edits. I hope you enjoy what I have in store and go watch the Doom's Night animation!! )

( For today's artwork, I decided to redraw one of my earliest Doom's night artworks (inspired by eternally) that I drew back in 2021. I'm not showing the old art 'cause we don't need to look at that but I decided to take that drawing idea and include one of my guilty favorite theories that were posted on twitter when the animation teaser was released: "What if the figure falling from the sky was Hueningkai who turns into the dragon?"

The theory is obviously not accurate but it was honestly one of my favorite ones 😭 I'm a sucker for kind characters who are actually villains so I was hoping this theory was true (not only that, it made sense at the time since Hueningkai's whole thing was that he had a secret). We now know the truth but I still like this theory, it was very fun. I still think that him becoming the dragon could be a fun au, like he summons the dragon to arrive and it goes wrong and he gets possessed by it or something )

TSS Anime vs my TSS AU

( I'm still so shocked we got an anime, even though it was only ten minutes and I'm still unsure if we'd get a full series or not (I hope we do 🥹) I had to draw Star One's redesigns but I want to dissect what I've learned about as I drew their redesigns:

- Soule: he looks cute but my sister said it best, he looks like the main protagonist of an isekai, which makes sense since the star seekers genre category includes isekai. I am a bit peeved with the change of color palette, they took away one of the things I loved about him- his black and blue, tired, emo look 😔

- Eugene: I actually really like how the anime made him tan and with muscles! and just like the webtoon, I love his character in the anime, still the same protective Eugene I adore 🥰 I do feel like they took away his softer aspects, because when I look at Eugene from the webtoon, I see yeonjun, who is both a masculine yet feminine guy. But I'm not too peeved about it since anime Eugene is like I said, the same determined, protective guy that I adore

- Viken: I'm going to be honest- I don't really like his redesign because they took away his charm 💔 he's supposed to have long hair, bring me back my freeze Beomgyu 💔 BUT, I really like that they gave him green eyes, piercings, and a cool staff! I even like the interpretation of his magic and how the thorns on his shoulders look like

- Taho: AWESOME DESIGN!! I am peeved about his color palette being different cause I like his purple and gray color palette 😞 but other than that, his redesign is my most favorite! I love the glasses and the fact that they gave him an undercut. The team behind the anime understood the taho undercut agenda 😌

- Avys: he looks so much like Hueningkai in this anime but I kind of wish they kept his white hair 😔 and YES!! FINALLY!! WE DISCUSS HIS TRAUMA!! his trauma was discussed so well, the team did really great with that!!

THE STAR SEEKERS : REWRITE THE DESTINY (AU rewrite) Avys's redesign 🩵🐦🪽

(Avys's design kept flip-flopping for me because I couldn't figure out the color scheme for him. I finally figured it out so here's the last member of my redesigned versions of star one 🥳)

Info that is kept the same for this rewrite:

- Avys's magic ability

- Avys summons Star One's familiars

- His trauma (but more fleshed out)

- His fear of the dark (technically canon from the TSS anime)

Personal headcanons for this rewrite:

- his trauma is something that affects him, is not shoved aside, and something he deals with on his own until star one find out (he keeps it a secret from the rest)

- clothing attire, except for his hoodie

- Avys manifests his magic much later than the rest

- unlike Eugene, he wants magic

- water birds are created through the condensation in the air, not necessarily a summoned creature since it is made through creation, but is the most summoned creature he uses since they are versatile

- avys learns artisan magic after he meets his alternate, the artisan

I honestly forgot to mention the anime here, today was a busy day but the star seekers came back and now today is the best day ever 🤩 my favorite redesign was taho, my least favorite was viken cause they took away his beautiful long dark hair 😔 I really like how they acknowledged avys' trauma in the anime!! like his trauma in episode 3 of TSS was my biggest mystery and then they go ahead and explain it in ten minutes!! they gave Eugene muscles and soule honestly looks like an isekai character, which makes sense but like they took away his depressed emo elf look (they made his hair brown). anyways go watch the star seekers anime!! my boys are finally getting their well deserved flowers 💐💐💐

THE STAR SEEKERS: REWRITE THE DESTINY DUOS ( Sleepover Duo : Soulken ) 💙💚

( Felt like drawing this before posting avys's redesign. out of all the duos in star one, I planned theirs the most since I often discussed these two with my sister. So buckle up for a shortened down version of my ideas for this dynamic )

- Soule and viken ( including taho ) share the same room in their dorms in my rewrite. When they go to Dragonspeak, they are then separated to their own rooms. Soule doesn't mind but viken does and chooses to sleepover at Soule's room, hence the sleepover duo name

- viken is a light sleeper but does not sleep like a log. Soule struggles to sleep and with viken constantly making a ruckus in his sleep, he often wakes up, which is a blessing and a curse. A blessing because he doesn't have to witness his nightmares, a curse because his health depletes with the lack of sleep he gets.

- sun and moon cause Viken is cheerful and bright, Soule is gloomy and tired.

- viken often makes puns with Soule's name and tries to cheer him up by being silly but soule never understands the puns he says

I watched the "Pretty Please I Don't Want To Be A Magical Girl" pilot a while back and I found out that Zira and Toko share the same voice actress so of course I had to draw them together!! It's a very cute pilot!! I highly recommend it!! 💜⭐✨

THE STAR SEEKERS : REWRITE THE DESTINY ( AU rewrite ) Eugene's Redesign 💗🦌🗡️

( he was one of the first I tried to come up with a design but never could think of anything UNTIL yeonjun's song 'ggum' came out, and then it CLICKED. Thank you yeonjun for the outfit inspo now I have one of my most favorite star one redesigns I've ever created!! )

Info that is kept the same for this rewrite:

- Eugene's disdain for magic, but amped up to 1,000%

- Eugene's overuse of magic and magic corruption (mainly from Wattpad version)

- love of performing

- stubbornness and headstrong attitude

Personal headcanons for this rewrite:

- Eugene's connection to rival boy group 'GAIS'

- deal with the odd eyed cat is different

- added magic ability: invincibility

- due to his invincibility, he throws himself at danger and pushes his limits, causing him to overuse his magic multiple times (which stresses star one)

- relationship with banya (because I'm still mad the webtoon ends with them never sparring or ever having a closer friendship 💔)

- corruption arc is slightly canon for him

THE STAR SEEKERS : REWRITE THE DESTINY (AU rewrite) Taho's redesign 💜📖🌌

( third character redesign is Taho!! I literally didn't change anything besides his hair, colors, and his magic capabilities because I thought he already had such a good design in general. I changed A LOT about his role and magic though, I felt like the TSS writers never utilized him properly, so that will be changed )

Info that is kept the same for rewrite:

- Outfit design (slight changes)

- Magic type (still the same, I just spiced it up)

- Taho's friend Jinyeong (I have ideas for his friend)

- personality type

- eye magic design

Personal headcanons for this rewrite:

- Familiar is completely different. Instead of a ratatoskr, I went with a tressym (a flying cat that ties to the whole dnd concept) I never liked the squirrel, it felt out of place so I changed it up

- Taho finds the book in the dragonspeak library

- Taho's magic now consists of mind magic (kind of like echolocation, not telekinesis), illusions (I have big plans for his illusion magic), and portal opening/teleporting

- His familiar, Sora, often hides his black water potions, aware of the danger they bring him

- Taho is the strategist of the group and he often stays quiet. He is direct with his words but stays silent if dealing with an issue

( POST ) CORRUPTION AU : corruption besties 💙💚

( I feel like I don't allow myself to draw post corruption au because it "hasn't happened yet" but like ... okay??? this is my au, why am I limiting myself from drawing star one reunite and interact?? but anyways, I broke that weird rule and drew Soule and viken hanging out! I feel like out of all of star one after reuniting, Soule and viken would rekindle their friendship and be close again! they basically parted on good terms and I do want to draw them saying their last goodbye before the group's separation but it'll take a while )
