people really just walk into horror movies and expect them not to deal with uncomfortable things despite the genre being dedicated to discomfort.

i saw so many people complain that lisa frankenstein, a movie where one of the leads is famously a rotting corpse, was too gross for them. when i walked out of nosferatu, i heard people say that the nudity was uncalled for... in a vampire film. nudity? in MY gothic horror?! unheard of!

a LOT of people really need to accept that maybe some genres just aren't to their taste, idk. not every movie needs to be cookie-cutter clean. sexuality is a staple of gothic horror, if not the wider genre horror in General. you don't need to enjoy it, but it doesn't make these things uncalled for.

I'm coming back to this now that I've seen the finale and yea it was still underwhelming :(

It's sad to say I felt nothing watching it. I mean, all those loose threads and alternate endings didn't help either.

Season 5 really should've been the last.

I was catching up on the final season of wwdits and I'm feeling so underwhelmed. My coworker and I like to fill each other in when we see each other, and she said she hasn't really liked this season.

I gotta agree 😬 there's only 2 episodes left, and everything feels so unresolved. Why is it only 10 episodes? I'm not feeling like that's enough to wrap up the show.

Also, I don't usually care about shipping anymore, but nandermo being completely written out feels weird. Even if they wanted to have them move on, imo it wasn't written in a way that addressed it. Especially since they shifted to Nandor suddenly having feelings for the guide.

Maybe season 5 should've been the last...

I think watching some random actor's entire filmography just because you fancy them is actually so important. It teaches you that even the most successful artists start somewhere. That they experience ups and downs and career ruts and often have to do very weird projects at some point just because their rent is due. And maybe you discover that you don't even like that guy all that much lol
