welsknight fanon v canon : aka the funniest contrast ive ever seen from fanon v canon.

heres the textless version and some thoughts

the contrast between canon and fanon with welsknight is so funny to me. every single fanon piece (usually writing but sometimes art) i see of him hes so knightly and goody two shoes and like. posh?? and then i watch his videos and he puts a bridge on hypnos front lawn without asking for permission. he made a secret tunnel between him and hypnos storage rooms for shits and giggles. hes doing an old man impression of kids these days with their gadgets and he brings up papyrus paper of all things. he gives off such mischevious little man vibes and he is at best a knight wannabe but realistically seems to be just be in it for the aesthetics and fandom takes it all way too seriously. its hilarious and i genuinely cant take any fanon depiction of him being all knightly and pretentious without thinking of the fact that he spent so much on mangrove to line the secret tunnel between him and hypnos storage rooms which he built without telling hypno. peak smug cat meme vibes

anyway uhhh tldr welsknight is not a knight that armour is made of foam and its hilarious how seriously the fandom takes him. send post

I don't know if Scott actually knows how to separate a sacrifice and a betrayal either.

Logically he knows the difference, of course. But functionally? If he's going to give them everything anyways- his items, his time, his loyalty, his life- then what does it matter whether he gives or they take?

Martyn stabbed Scott in the back in Limited life while Gem was devastated to be asked to kill him in Secret Life.

It didn't make a difference.

The end outcome is the same, they take part of him, and they get further because of it. The circumstances don't really matter, because Scott's life being theirs is a foregone conclusion to him either way.

it’s so funny I think pearl is, secretly, a complete sweat, people just don’t call her a sweat the way they do like, joel because they don’t notice. she so frequently is like “haha guys don’t expect me to be good at this I’m just here for fun” and then puts the most time and effort into Winning of anyone ever. this is repeatedly true. No thoughts only technoblade giving his cape to tommy to keep him warm but the cape is a bit too big bc Technoblade is a BIG GUY and Tommy isnt SMALL exactly but he’s definitely not technoblade-size so hes trying very valiantly to wear Technos cape all cool-like and pretend that he’s intimidating in this long flowing cape but also he is. Being drowned in the fluff. And hes tripping over the cape. Hes faceplanted in the snow. Techno wonders if he might’ve been better off without the cape at all, and he’s like “i can take it back” but Tommy is like NO NO I GOT IT and then he trips over it a second time

Instead of doing NanoWriMo I will be doing something where I try to aim for writing an actual average of 400 words a day for the month of November in memory of Terry Pratchett, who as far as I know never thought telling a computer to write a book for you is a good way to hone your skills as a writer.
