Had a dream that Alex Hirsch reposted some innocuous fanart and antis started freaking out because the artist of the fanart shipped stancest and it became a huge debate over whether Alex reposted it by accident until Alex just tweeted a picture he drew of Stan and Ford getting married on the Stan O War with Soos officiating over video call and everyone got even more pissed because Ford was wearing the dress implying he's the bottom

My Brother, Graphite on Paper

The ocean stretched out like a blank page, and Ford had spent a lifetime chasing the next line, the next answer. But tonight, as the Stan O’ War II rocked gently beneath them, he found his pencil refusing equations. Instead, it marked the curve of Stan’s jaw, the stubborn line of his mouth, the slope of his shoulders as he worked clumsily at a coil of rope.

“I can feel you staring, genius,” Stan muttered, not looking up.

Ford smiled faintly, eyes drifting back to the waves. “Merely observing. It’s what I do.”

The silence between them hummed with all the years they’d lost, with everything neither had ever managed to say.

Ford closed his notebook, heart unsteady. “For what it’s worth,” he murmured, “I think I’d rather be lost at sea with you than found anywhere else.”

Stan chuckled, but his voice was softer than usual. “Careful, Poindexter. Talk like that and I’ll start thinkin’ you actually like being around me.”

And the night air seemed to close in, close around them, as if the whole ocean knew what it was that neither brother could quite say aloud.

Stanford: So the star quarterback, the head cheerleader, and the richest kid in school.

P16. Stanley: Says that Jimmy was arrested for drug possession, Tanner for buying his grades from the faculty, and Bertha for physical assault of a neighboring cheer squad. Damn. Do you think this will mess up their scholarships?

Stanford: Oh yes. These are serious offenses. Oh, Stanley -

P17. Stanley: Yeah?

Stanford: Great news! I found some more money in my old wallet. I think it's enough yo fix your broken light cover and get some paint to cover up the spots that washed away when you had to power wash the paint off. We can get the stuff this morning and finish it by this afternoon!

P18. Stanley: Woah! Ford, really! That's amazing! But -

P19. Stanley: It's your money, Sixer. You should spend it on something you want. I can take care of the car. I'm sure Pa can work me a few weekends. I don't wanna take your money for my problems.

P1. Don't listen to those jerks, Sixer! You're 10x the man any of them will be. While we're out living our best lives at sea, they'll still be here, sucking on their Ma's tit.

P2. Ford, you're the smartest person I know. And I know a lot of people. They're just jealous like Ma says because they could never be as cool or as passionate about something as you.

P3. Stanley: Let's stop at that new diner before going home. I'll ask for our food to go and get two straws for our shake. We can spend some "alone" time at the ship and eat.

Stanford: I'd like that, Stanley.

P4. Stanley's car has been vandalized. Eggs have been thrown at the windshield, graffiti is marked along the car with the words "Loser", "Stupid", "Fag", and "Fatty". A broken head light cover is shattered on the ground.

P5. Stanley: Sweet Moses! My car!

Stanford: Holy shit.

P6. Fuck! Dude, this is going to take so much money to fix. Pa is going to be so mad at me. I'm sorry, Ford.

P7. The three vandals are off to the side behind the building, watching and laughing.

Howdy howdy and here's a lil something for y'all!! I know it ain't much but I've been working on some things when I can. Works been super busy and I haven't had much time to draw lately but ANYWAY here's a few things plus a lil WIP

Seaside proposal

The sea swayed the boat back and forth in the dock. Ford was looking out at the setting sun. His sister was back at the hotel they had decided to stay at before heading back out to sea early tomorrow morning. They had docked at a small fisherman's town in Iceland.

Ford looked around and spotted a jeweler shop still busy at work. Ford reached into his pocket, pulling out a bag. In the bag he dumped out a single pearl, from the first clam that he and Nelly had caught on the boat… their boat together. With a determined grin, Ford marched to the shop.

 

The early morning light woke Nelly first. Moving to get up she was surprised to hear her brother grumble, and then felt belatedly that his strong arm was around her hips as he curled it around to keep her in bed. " Well good morning to you too!" Nelly snickered. "Did you get in too late? You hardly ever wake up after me..."

Ford mumbles incoherently at his sister. She chuckles and moves to get up again.

"Nooooo!!" Ford whined, actually whined at Nelly for moving. She laughs as she's pulled back again. "I thought we needed to get back out this morning...." She says as she lays and twirls her brother's gray locks between her fingers. It's then that she notices a ring on her finger that most certainly was not there the night before. Nelly stares at the golden band, pristine and sparkling, coiled delicately around a precious pearl, seated strongly in a nest of tiny precious diamonds.

"..... Stanford...."

"Hmm?"

"... What's.... What's sitting on my finger right now?" She asked in a hushed nearly breathless whisper. "I do believe they call that a ring my dear." Ford mumbles tiredly. He laughs as his head is smacked playfully.

"Ok smartass, why's it on my ring finger?"

Ford finally sat up, taking hold of Nelly's hands.... Still so much smaller than his own.

"I'm sorry it's forty years late, I had always wanted to do this properly..." Nelly watched through blurry eyes as Ford got down onto the floor, leaning to one knee. "But Nelly Pines... Would you do this man the greatest honor in his life, and spend what we have left together as not only my sister, but as my wife and partner?" He asked.

Nelly was already a sobbing mess. "Stupid bastard! Yes I fucking will!" She rubbed furiously at her eyes, "Who else is gonna put up with your sci-fi bullshit!?" She asked with a teary smile. "Now get up here cuddle me you sappy old man!" Ford happily did so and tackled his sister, now wife, to the bed.

Needless to say, they extended their stay in Iceland and Nelly happily showed off her ring any chance she got.
