ą¼āļ½” hard conversations starters
for those hard conversations you have to have sometimes. romantic, platonic, familial, & a few others!
iĀ don'tĀ knowĀ howĀ toĀ sayĀ thisĀ withoutĀ hurtingĀ you.
you'veĀ beenĀ soĀ differentĀ lately...
i'veĀ beenĀ tryingĀ toĀ sayĀ thisĀ forĀ aĀ whileĀ now.
iĀ knowĀ iĀ messedĀ up.Ā iĀ justĀ needĀ youĀ toĀ listen.
didĀ youĀ fallĀ outĀ ofĀ loveĀ withĀ me?
youĀ don'tĀ haveĀ toĀ forgiveĀ me.
atĀ whatĀ pointĀ didĀ youĀ decideĀ iĀ wasn'tĀ worthĀ theĀ effort?
whyĀ didn'tĀ youĀ tellĀ me?
whyĀ isĀ loveĀ inĀ thisĀ familyĀ alwaysĀ conditional?
pleaseĀ justĀ sayĀ something.
i'veĀ spentĀ myĀ wholeĀ lifeĀ tryingĀ toĀ beĀ enoughĀ forĀ you.
i'mĀ scaredĀ ifĀ weĀ talkĀ aboutĀ this,Ā we'reĀ goingĀ toĀ fallĀ apart.
doĀ youĀ evenĀ wantĀ toĀ fixĀ thisĀ anymore?
youĀ wereĀ supposedĀ toĀ beĀ theĀ oneĀ personĀ whoĀ wouldn'tĀ giveĀ upĀ onĀ me!
tellĀ meĀ whatĀ toĀ do.Ā tellĀ meĀ whatĀ youĀ need.
ifĀ thisĀ isĀ theĀ end,Ā iĀ wantĀ toĀ hearĀ youĀ sayĀ it.
i'mĀ scaredĀ you'reĀ onlyĀ hereĀ becauseĀ it'sĀ easierĀ toĀ stay.
iĀ can'tĀ keepĀ pretendingĀ nothingĀ happened.
youĀ leftĀ meĀ toĀ cleanĀ upĀ theĀ piecesĀ ofĀ whatĀ youĀ broke.
youĀ actĀ likeĀ you'reĀ fineĀ butĀ iĀ canĀ tellĀ you'reĀ not.
iĀ can'tĀ keepĀ holdingĀ thisĀ inĀ anymore.
itĀ feelsĀ likeĀ youĀ don'tĀ needĀ meĀ anymore.
wasĀ itĀ easierĀ toĀ ghostĀ meĀ thanĀ admitĀ youĀ gaveĀ up?
sayĀ it.Ā sayĀ youĀ neverĀ lovedĀ me.
whenĀ didĀ weĀ stopĀ beingĀ onĀ theĀ sameĀ side?
sometimesĀ iĀ wishĀ i'dĀ neverĀ metĀ you.
lovingĀ someoneĀ isn'tĀ supposedĀ toĀ feelĀ likeĀ this.
whyĀ isĀ itĀ soĀ hardĀ toĀ talkĀ toĀ youĀ withoutĀ feelingĀ small?
i'mĀ tiredĀ ofĀ beingĀ theĀ oneĀ whoĀ holdsĀ itĀ allĀ together.
ifĀ youĀ cared,Ā youĀ would'veĀ stayed.
i'mĀ tryingĀ toĀ learnĀ howĀ toĀ forgiveĀ you.

ą¼āļ½” stirring the pot starters
a mix of arguments, tension, manipulation, gossiping, fighting, & general emotional messiness!
youĀ weren'tĀ supposedĀ toĀ hearĀ that.
don'tĀ lookĀ atĀ meĀ likeĀ i'mĀ theĀ onlyĀ oneĀ lying.
wantĀ toĀ tellĀ them,Ā orĀ shouldĀ i?
youĀ thinkĀ iĀ don'tĀ knowĀ whatĀ youĀ did?
i'veĀ hitĀ peopleĀ forĀ less.
oh,Ā iĀ thoughtĀ youĀ alreadyĀ knew.
that'sĀ funny,Ā youĀ didn'tĀ sayĀ thatĀ lastĀ night.
sayĀ thatĀ again.Ā iĀ dareĀ you.
youĀ wannaĀ talkĀ aboutĀ loyalty?
noĀ offense,Ā butĀ ifĀ you'reĀ theĀ lastĀ toĀ know,Ā that'sĀ onĀ you.
goĀ aheadĀ -Ā pretendĀ likeĀ itĀ wasn'tĀ yourĀ idea!
theyĀ deserveĀ toĀ knowĀ theĀ truth.
youĀ didn'tĀ hearĀ thisĀ fromĀ me,Ā butĀ -
oh,Ā soĀ nowĀ youĀ care?
don'tĀ flatterĀ yourself.Ā youĀ wereĀ justĀ convenient.
youĀ crossedĀ aĀ line.
weĀ hadĀ betsĀ onĀ howĀ longĀ itĀ wouldĀ last.
it'sĀ notĀ evenĀ aĀ secretĀ anymore.
youĀ don'tĀ getĀ toĀ cryĀ aboutĀ itĀ now.
touchĀ meĀ againĀ andĀ seeĀ whatĀ happens.
sayĀ itĀ again.Ā louderĀ thisĀ time.
youĀ reallyĀ thoughtĀ nobodyĀ wouldĀ findĀ out?
don'tĀ actĀ soĀ innocent.
okay,Ā butĀ amĀ iĀ theĀ villainĀ forĀ laughing?
tellĀ meĀ whoĀ elseĀ knows.Ā rightĀ now.
thisĀ wholeĀ time,Ā andĀ youĀ didn'tĀ sayĀ aĀ word?
don'tĀ actĀ braveĀ now.
you'reĀ reallyĀ gonnaĀ doĀ thisĀ here?
itĀ wasn'tĀ supposedĀ toĀ getĀ thisĀ far!
youĀ can'tĀ rewriteĀ history.
oh,Ā i'dĀ neverĀ sayĀ itĀ toĀ theirĀ faces.
itĀ wasĀ supposedĀ toĀ stayĀ betweenĀ us.
we'reĀ allĀ thinkingĀ it,Ā iĀ justĀ saidĀ it.
you'reĀ notĀ asĀ untouchableĀ asĀ youĀ act.
doĀ youĀ evenĀ feelĀ guilty?
theyĀ warnedĀ meĀ aboutĀ you.
goĀ ahead,Ā makeĀ itĀ worse.
ifĀ youĀ repeatĀ this,Ā i'llĀ denyĀ everything.
theĀ nextĀ thingĀ outĀ ofĀ yourĀ mouthĀ betterĀ beĀ anĀ apology.
you'reĀ aboutĀ threeĀ secondsĀ awayĀ fromĀ regrettingĀ this.
youĀ keepĀ pushing,Ā andĀ i'llĀ pushĀ youĀ back.
they'reĀ goingĀ toĀ findĀ out.
oneĀ moreĀ lie,Ā andĀ iĀ walk.
they'reĀ lyingĀ toĀ you.
youĀ needĀ toĀ backĀ off.Ā now.
you'reĀ defendingĀ them?Ā afterĀ everything?
don'tĀ tryĀ toĀ hideĀ it.
tellĀ me,Ā wasĀ iĀ justĀ aĀ placeholder?
youĀ reallyĀ thinkĀ sorryĀ fixesĀ this?
there'sĀ nothingĀ leftĀ toĀ say.
don'tĀ actĀ likeĀ you'reĀ theĀ oneĀ hurting.
iĀ don'tĀ oweĀ youĀ anyĀ explanation.
whateverĀ helpsĀ youĀ sleepĀ atĀ night.
youĀ should'veĀ seenĀ thisĀ coming.
iĀ hopeĀ itĀ wasĀ worthĀ it.
iĀ toldĀ theĀ truth.Ā justĀ notĀ allĀ ofĀ it.
you'llĀ missĀ meĀ beforeĀ iĀ missĀ you.
smile.Ā you'reĀ ruiningĀ theĀ mood.
i'dĀ watchĀ thatĀ toneĀ ifĀ iĀ wereĀ you.
it'sĀ notĀ myĀ faultĀ youĀ believedĀ me.
youĀ haveĀ suchĀ aĀ talentĀ forĀ pretendingĀ you'reĀ innocent.
weĀ bothĀ knowĀ thisĀ isĀ over.
iĀ neverĀ saidĀ iĀ wasĀ aĀ goodĀ person.
iĀ thoughtĀ youĀ wereĀ different.

BEING LEFT ā Ā wait! you can't just leave me here alone!Ā ā ā Ā i don't know how to live in a world where i'm all alone.Ā ā ā Ā everyone i've ever loved has either left or died.Ā ā ā Ā i'm not yet ready for it to end.Ā ā ā Ā will we ever see each other again?Ā ā ā Ā please! you promised! you promised you'd never leave.Ā ā ā Ā if you leave now, i'll never forgive you.Ā ā ā Ā are you really going to leave after everything we've been through?Ā ā ā Ā how am i supposed to keep on like before when you're not here anymore?Ā ā ā Ā i knew this day would come, but i hoped it wouldn't be today.Ā ā ā Ā please don't go. not yet. just stay a little longer ...Ā ā ā Ā don't just walk away. say something, anything, before you go.Ā ā ā Ā so that's it? you're just ... gone?Ā ā ā Ā you can't just walk away like none of this meant anything!Ā ā ā Ā why does everyone i love always leave?Ā ā ā Ā i should've known better than to think you'd stay.Ā ā ā Ā is it really that easy for you to walk away?Ā ā ā Ā you said we'd face the world together. now i have to face it alone.Ā ā ā Ā if you're going, at least look me in the eyes and say goodbye.Ā ā ā Ā i don't have the strength to watch you walk away again.Ā ā

Are š®š¤šŖ fidgeting? Do I make you nervous?
Joe took a step back, his head turned toward a back section in the store. He tilted his chin up and in the direction of Horror Fiction.
"We stock Stephen King, Shirley Jackson, Anne Rice, Edgar Allen Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, Dean Koontz. That's just a few, the main ones that most people know." Joe's dark eyes glittered, the mere mention of literary legends sparking a tiny flame inside of him. The power and the joy of losing oneself in a masterpiece, in a world unbeknownst to the heathens of society, a path less traveled.
"Have you ever read šššššššššššš šš š“ššš šŗšššššš? If you haven't, I highly recommend it." Cocking his head to the side, Joe slid š»šš šØšššššššš under his arm and pressed it to his side.
"I can show you, if you'd like?"
@lilithcatsan
It's a slow day today, Joe thought to himself. He sighed as he began to walk around, shelving books in the correct order, putting them where they belong. His mind wandering to Mr. Mooney, wondering what the old man could be doing. Joe made a mental note to visit him. It's been a while, he thought and grimaced.
The bells jingled for the door, signaling that a customer had just walked in. With a slight roll to his eyes, he pushed a smile to his lips and walked out to the front counter.
"Hi, I'm Joe. How can I help you?"

thinking about joe goldberg and love quinn teaming up together in order to kidnap you.
youāre just so perfectā the way you smile at the waiter in the restaurant that they both saw you at. the way you have nobody apart from yourself to take care of you.
maybe it was because you were alone that they were drawn to you.
it didnāt necessarily matter why, as long as they had you in the end. and that was their true goal.
the way they had snuck you into their life was almost incredible. it was the way love invited you to her bakery, and the way joe had offered to give you a tour of the local library there.
the only reason joe could now stand love was because she loved you the way he did.
so they decided to work together; they decided to get you into their life the same way they did with each other.
and of course that cage in the bakery would become useful at some point.
because your eyes and the way you looked when they both trapped you inside? so worth it.

For a moment they just stared at one another, assessing, evaluating each other. The smile vanished for a moment as Joe followed her gaze, the torrential downpour now coming in waves over the stores glass front, with a chuckle he nodded. "Ah. I totally get it."
Joe took a quick glance around, with the current onslaught of rain and it being a Wednesday, the store was completely empty, except for š®š¤šŖ. "It seems I am all yours than."
His eyes flickered over to meet your gaze, the smile returned as he took a step toward you, reclosing the space and giving you his undivided attention.
"What kind of books do you like? Favorite Author or genre? It helps to know a little about the customers' taste."
The last word lingered there between them, the word taste fresh on his tongue. He idly wondered what š®š¤šŖ taste like.

Joe smiled, watching you as he noticed how open your facial expressions actually were. Behind all your black, he was beginning to see š®š¤šŖ. You're quit nerdy, aren't you? Nerdy is good, nothing wrong with nerdy.
You've already read this book, haven't you? Joe meets your small smile with a lopsided one of his own. You're quiet, did I say something? Did you say something?
Joe's eyes drifted from your face to your small fingers as they played with the end of your braid, you're definitely nervous. Meeting your gaze again, he tilted his head toward the register and stepped back, book still clutched in his hand. "I can check you out, unless you're still looking, of course?"

You're nervous. Joe stops in front of you, the book dangling loosely in your small hand. He takes the book, careful not to brush fingers or linger longer than was necessary. With a small smile, he surveyed the book.
"š»šš šØšššššššš šš š·šššš šŖššššš, good choice. Very deep and thought provoking."
Joe handles the book delicately, long fingers tracing the spine as his dark eyes roved the copy, evaluating it. Assessing it. He opened the book and flipped through a few pages. Old, but undamaged. Good condition, great condition actually.
His eyes suddenly dart up, meeting your gaze as the corner of his mouth lifted. Up closer, he can smell your perfume, or maybe that's just your scent, either way it was intoxicating.
Joe inhaled, eyes dilated slightly as he imagined closing the store early, turning the open sign to closed and drawing the blinds. Then he would return to find you half naked in a reading corner, your small hand between your thighs as he kneels in front of you...
Clearing his throat, a tight smile as he blurted out a price, anything to clear his head from š®š¤šŖ. "Umm, 29.99 it's a great book for a great price. I think you would love it, but what do I know, I'm a glorified librarian." He joked, gently flirting.
I have to know š®š¤šŖ.
