Amazing town Kutná Hora in Czech Republic. This is a 13th century fountain with drinking water. Beautiful!

Russia: Vodka, balalayka & bear?
Many well-known nations have their own characteristic features. Some of them true, some are rooted stereotypes. Let`s have a look at Russian`s typical characteristics.
Firstly, an alcohol. It seems like “vodka” is the most known Russian word worlwide. Foreigners think that every Russian have a bottle of vodka in a fridge and drink it with every meal. Of course, it`s not true. I think. vodka is not the most popular alcohol drink. Yes, Russians drink ot, but mostly on parties, usualy older men love it. Younger prefer beer or another light alcohol drinks. It is not pleasant myth and I hope we will proof soon that not all Russians are alcoholics.
Second stereotypes sounds like “all Russians are blunt and serious”. Yes, it`s unbelievible to see adult Russian smiling at strangers. We are always walking with “poker face” and it makes an impression we are serious and blunt. We hardly say “Hello!” to neighbours, we don`t know what small-talk is. But Russians are alood only with strangers. I`m not proud od this characteristic and I don`t support this type of behaviour. In my view, younger generation is more open-minded and communicable, so we are slightly becoming more polite and talkative.
Third thing is Russian superstition. Increadible, how many Russians are superstitious. Maybe our nation have developed imagination? Mostly old ladys are carriers, but sometimes even my peers could suddenly say something like “Spit across your left shouder!”. If there is an electrical pillar supported by another pillar making archway, you must bypass. And a grass near this pillar is spoilted because everyone is bypassing.
Fourth feature is Russian fascination to celebrate. We celebrate every holiday, we love huge weddings, birthdays and New Year parties. Russians are generous when they want to treat their guests. Sometimes it`s too much in my taste, for example our common practice to take a credit or to sell a car for flashy wedding.
Due to this poing goes point number five. Russians love their family. We have a cult of respecting elders - grandmothers and -fathers. Russians love children, and there is ordinary situation when adult child live with their parents. Also we have traditional gender roles, where women have to do house works and look after kids, and men have to earn money.
At least, Russians are proud of their hystorical and cultural heritage. We proud of our grandfathers who defeated the faschism. We love to talk about Victory in The Great World War II and sometimes it goes over frames, in mt view. For example, we build expensive war museum and at the same time we have so many problems with hospitals, buildings and roads. I think, it`s neccessary to solve this problems primarily.
In conclusion I would say that Russian`s behavior may semms strange, we are not practical and don`t count money for important things for us. We are not smiley and polite, but if we are going to hang out with friends we are extremely hospitable.  We have to remember, that all nations ate unique and diversity is great. We have to respect each other traditions and have cultural awarness.

"The Garden of Word" or what to expect if you are 30 soon
Sunday evening seems to be created for hanging out with friends. But sometimes I need to spend some time face-to-face with me, if I could say like that) Today is the one of these days. My lovely hubby is drinking beer with his friend in the pub called “Yesenin” (he was “the last poet of Russian village” and also he loved to drink a lot). And me… Well. I love to draw. But I do it good only on someone’s face) I like watching films, and this evening I have already seen “The Garden of Words”. It is an anime movie. Actually, I’m not an anime fan (but I do love Hayao Miyazaki films), but I liked this cartoon. I found it a little bit naive and more appropriate for teenagers, than adults. But one thought is very actual for me. The guy was full of ambitions. And the woman was desperate. 27-years old teacher was drinking beer every morning for a month. Why did she do it? I can understand her. I don’t know what affects us. But me and some people this age I know are in “finding myself” period. And we do the same. We could quit the job and wander through the city thinking and searching for the answer. It is painful. It looks strange. It is destructive on a one hand, and it is creative on the other hand. You feel state that Ancient Greeks named “catharsis”. You burn from the inside and your internal fire burns everything useless and harmful. And after all you feel refined. You may find what you’ve been searching and win your happiness and your own path. In my view, the heroine has got over the same thing. And if you are coming to age 27-28 now, have a look at this anime and prepare yourself) So, evening is continuing, and I’m going to paint a little coloring book)
*Thanks so much, if you have found a power to read this sheet*
