THE CONFRONTATION CLIP! I felt like it was really well done!!!! I liked how they went outside it always felt like a very private conversation for the middle of the kitchen😅

One thing I've noticed is that SRAM has been doing the scenes in a much more "raw" way, when compared to the OG. And I'm not just talking about the fights.

It's undeniable that the fight with Ines and now the Nix-Jakov one were wild, between spray bottles, throwing people against lockers and bites and punches, but I'm also talking about emotional scenes and conversations.

The way they've approached the simple act of "talking" or of "showing emotion" has been so raw that I can look at it and go "I could react this way" or "I could say this" and that's something I didn't really feel watching the OG.

It may be the 9 years between the two. The world changed, the story did too. But still, I need to give SRAM credit for that

okay so I was right after the trailer about everything between eva sara and jakov going down differently than in the og... it is an interesting choice for them to have already broken up when jakov and eva get together! it does maybe make eva more sympathetic even though the outcome was basically the same.

I do feel like an important part of the og was eva being paranoid that jonas would cheat on her like he did with ingrid and loosing that kinda takes that subtext away, but I guess if they had feelings for each other before the breakup- she might feel that way anyways.

The pinkie promise with the seal broke me omg 😭 Eva and Sara :( the situation must be so painful. The whole circumstance is just tragic really but it can’t be helped. Good job to Eva for facing head-on and taking responsibility, and good job to Sara for accepting the apology and choosing to stop letting it burden her!

I really liked this clip; I like how we learn some things that Jakov was willing to look past but still hurt him enough to bring up now after it’s ended, i.e the disinterest in the movies and songs. In the classic teenage way, Jakov is so quick to call out Eva’s disinterest in him, but we’ve seen that he’s not that interested in whatever she finds joy in either.

What I really enjoyed from the clip is his hypocrisy though hahaha. You asked Eva, but Jakov, who are you? You should think about the question too. Both of you need to shoulder the blame for everything you did to Sara and why your relationships ended.
