Armani was born on December 13, 1993 in London, England and is of Guyanese and English descent. Growing up, his father was very strict due to him being a military man but his mother was the complete opposite of that. She was warm, she was kind, she was very caring and his father would always say that she was entirely too soft with him. Armani was essentially closer with his mother more so than his father up until her death when he was 9 years old. He was his mother’s only child and alarmingly, just a year shy after his mother’s untimely death, his father had remarried and was expecting a child with another woman. Later on, Armani would find out that once his mother had gotten sick that his father had sought out comfort in booze, in drugs, and his work. How he managed all this but kept his facade as a respected military man was beyond him..

Armani was raised by his stepmother and it took some time but he eventually softened up to her. It was their mutual love, care, and protective nature of his half siblings, twin boys Devin and Casey. It was his baby brothers that introduced him to the wild, unpredictable world of professional wrestling. He can’t recall the moment he fell in love with it but he can remembered instantly believing that this was what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. At 12 years old, he began getting in trouble a lot at boarding school because he would “play WWE” with some of the other boys and by the time he was 15, he convinced the local wrestling school to let him be apart of the training regime. He lied about his age and got away with it for two years because of his muscle and strength. He paid for it through bus boy jobs and janitorial work because his parents didn’t approve of it. The assumed idea was that the Morelli boys would follow in their father’s footsteps in the military and it even led to a physical fight with his dad that ended with a broken jaw… on his dad’s part. His dad was the one who ended up with the broken jaw and Armani hardly had a scratch on him. The strength of his eldest surprised the entire family that it was almost scary. While his stepmother doesn’t fully understand, she’s supportive. His father, however, thinks every dream Armani has or had is a waste of time.

On his 18th birthday, Armani moved out of their flat in Oxford where they’d settled and went to the States never looking back. Armani found himself in the states, the Bronx specifically, with 100$ to his name and an excitement to show that he can make it work on his own. The first thing he did was buy a cheap tablet, go to the nearest coffee shop for WiFi, and create a social media presence (he didn’t have one before). He spent hours in the same spot still smelling like the plane he was on just 24 hours before and uploaded a bunch of his small independent matches, training videos, and workouts. Armani was laser focused and having his name out there as a threat on the independent wrestling world outside of England.

At 20, two years after moving, he managed to live in what he describes as the world’s worst apartment with its consistent repairs and brain dead landlord. He was 5 years into the wrestling thing and yet nothing but small shows in different boroughs is all he could get. In order to afford things, Armani worked part time in a gym downstairs from his apartment that the braindead landlord ran as well. Another 6 years had gone by, Armani suffered through depression and anxiety. His hands were always shaking, his guard was always up, and paranoia consumed every single thought. He was still wrestling but less and less frequently because he found himself with constant, consistent headaches and dizziness. At the suggestion and persistence of one of his last opponents, he found himself at the urgent care being told that if he took one more drop to the head, he could kill himself. His body, the universe, this so called God he initially believed in, had pulled a dramatic heel turn. The night he left the urgent care, he went home and dramatically burned a Bible that his mother had given him before she passed. 6 or 7 months later, at the young age of 26, he worked full time at the gym as its manager and given up on his professional wrestling dreams.

The braindead landlord had scored tickets to a wrestling show in Jacksonville. The company was All Elite Wrestling and any and every wrestling fan heard the buzz surrounding it. The rumor was that the company was a pro wrestling alternative to the WWE. Armani went with brain dead landlord since he was invited and, for the first time since being told that he shouldn’t wrestle anymore, he felt the passion spark from beginning to end right there in Daily’s Place. Armani saw the vision that the company was trying to pursue. He got it. He couldn’t explain it, he just did. He went to every show and watched others perform, deliver, and pursue what once was his dream as much as he could even during the pandemic era. Mid 2020, after one of the shows, Tony Khan had come out after a show and thanked the limited crowd for their attendance as he always did. That was when some drunk dumbass, three rows behind where Armani was sitting, tried to rush the stage. Despite being intoxicated, the so called fan moved quick. Unfortunate for him, not quicker than the 6 foot British man because without hesitation, Armani had the man pinned onto the ground in front of Tony Khan just a few inches away. From that moment on, Armani had a job as apart of Tony’s personal security team.

W H E W!! Ok so I obviously have put a lot of thought into this original character. If you’ve made it this far into it, first of all heyyyyy! I’d appreciate a heart emoji or a “dope!” below cause there’s just something about validation when you don’t need it… nonetheless, the rest of the story is that Armani has been working there for 5 years and relocated to Jacksonville to guard the billionaire. He is very close with the Khan family and has been to a million dinners. Tony calls him “The Avenger” of AEW as a nod to how quick he moved when the fan was trying to rush the stage. Currently, Armani is in line to be promoted as the head of tony’s security team when the one holding that position retires at the end of the year.

NOTE: **VERY IMPORTANT** Armani doesn’t work for AEW. He works for Tony Khan. The security for AEW is separate.

Open to any sort of connections! Despite not working for AEW technically, he will obviously be at shows a lot and know some of the talent; especially the OG’s that were there from the very beginning. If you’d like to skip the awkward “I’m Armani, I’m Y/N” convos on main and assume they know each other, you can message me if you want to but it’s not necessary; it’s entirely up to you. If you’re not apart of AEW, he obviously won’t know you personally but he’s a sweet guy! get to know him! he has a dark sense of humor, self deprecating, here for a good time not a long time, introverted slightly. Really, just plot with me. We’ll figure it all out as we go.
