my fav thing in wildlife research is the concept of animals being “trap happy” meaning the same animal goes into a trap on purpose again and again after it’s caught the first time bc it was like “hey…..there was food in there and Zero (0) predators and then they just let me go in the morning…….”

the wild swings of grimes going from presumed anti capitalist rebel to disgraced complicit girlfriend of anti union billionaire to accidentally indirectly causing the downfall of said billionaire via azaelia banks and therefore kind of fulfilling the role of an anti capitalist rebel? gripping

here’s a hot take: giftwrap is dumb, 95% of the time you can just hand someone the thing and accomplish the same task. Society has conditioned us to love wrapping shit up for no reason, probably by gift wrap industry people.

Consider this:

Bob’s jealousy of Helen does not make him a bad husband. He would be a bad husband if he let that jealousy control how he treated her and lead him to refuse to support her or take care of his family. He did none of those things. He felt the negative emotion, got over it, and did the right thing anyway. That is character: not the absence of negative emotions, but the ability to deal with them appropriately. Y’all need to quit acting like humans are one dimensional robots incapable of feeling multiple things at once.
