an interaction im very tired of in online autism spaces. aka when you don’t have a special interest / when your special interest isn’t [character] or [fandom]

love cabaret. can't stand the fact that people see it as a silly and sexy musical. just know that whenever you put cutie kissy faces on pictures of emcee and reduce him to a "silly little guy" a spyret is somewhere screaming and crying. this goes for falsettos as well, or ANYTHING related to musicals about real life events or periods of time about people who could have existed, scattered voices given one because a brave man decided to act and speak for all of them, do not reduce beautiful musicals and pieces of history to your "blorbos" i see it happen every day. they're not your blorbos at all. if you loved these pieces of media you'd treat it with the respect its history demands.
