Hello there! 👋
I’m SprocketCipher
or just Sprocket.
Tumblr media
My inspiration for my art style are modern cartoons such as Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, and Over the Garden Wall.
I also enjoy cozy games like Animal Crossing New Horizons, Stardew Valley, Cozy Grove and Littlewood.
Professional burnt out kid running on hot chocolate and a dream.✌️

I appreciate that my mom asked me to redraw the cartoonishly proportioned me (on the right) to look more realistic (on the left). I’m not as overweight as I think and even though I like drawing in cartoony shapes, I’m glad my mom is concerned about my self esteem.

It’s been a solid 4 years since I last did a Meet The Artist post. So what better time to do it than on a new blog? Currently a WIP here’s some thumbnails, along with my old versions from 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Hello 👋
I’ve recently heard news of Meta’s AI scraping Instagram for artwork and using it as training data. As I’d rather not have my art stolen and used without my permission, I’m debating posting my art here.
What do you think is the best decision?
