Turning my favorite artists into Pokemon starters: JoCat Edition

Design is based off my interpretation of his two avatars fused together. The aegislash he's holding is one of the many variants I made.

For all the people that wanted to burn down the village after they threw the mc out, I drew a post exile, gender neutral, main villain.

Alright, so after some thinking I decided to assign each symbol a number and, after picking randomly, started on the second Unown, but at some point I realized I had a problem...

With my friend's drawing, I already knew what flag colors they associated with because they had shown me before. But, for this one I'm working on, it seems like there's more than one color theme.

I don't want to use the wrong colors, but at the same time I know each person is different too. So, I was wondering...if I could get some advice from the lgbt+ community? Preferably from butches since this unown is based off their symbol.

I made this for a friend's birthday and they encouraged me to make more, so here's the first gender Unown based on a post I saw on Tiktok, a nonbinary/genderqueer Unown.

All of them are going to be shines cause they're all special.

This was my FIRST match in the gauntlet. Two of them were base kit while the third was +2 merge with Atk/Def Unity and Aether. Of course they kicked my ass but I'm pretty proud of myself for building my favorite unit. He handled three consecutive attacks back to back with little damage. That bonfire though, rip. I'm thinking about changing Ignis for Aether. Any thoughts?

Sometimes I like to take a break and look out the window.

"It's poisonous so...you might want to stop eating it. Or don't. That's fine too I guess. Though I really don't recommend it cause it's lethal to humans..."

Narration Chapter two:

Looking for any signs of other survivors you grab your bag and follow the strange footprints that led from the beach into the marsh.

Along the way you notice that there doesn't seem to be any sign of Pokemon or people around....but you can't help but feel like something is watching you from the shadows.

Nonetheless you continue on until you discover what seems to be an abandoned laboratory as well as a few fruit trees. Taking one you decide to explore your new shelter when a voice interupts you.

Luckily you only ate half the berry so good news, you won't die. Bad news? You're probably hallucinating because a Pokemon is not only dressed in clothes, but it's also talking to you.

Honestly at this point you hope everything is just a bad dream and you'll wake up to laugh it off later.

Who knows? Maybe you can use this experience as part of your next inspirational piece.

I noticed a few helsonas, but not any designs of the original Kiran themselves as a Hel soldier, so I made my own.

Ghost/Flying

Flix

The peachick poke'mon, and the pre-evolution of Pynox and Pyrahnix.

Whenever a Flix is hatched, it will light the spices and herbs left behind by it's parents. By breathing in the scent they are able to consume the essence of the said plants through smell like an incense.

Instead of using a Pokedex, the main character will use a journal to record the Pokemon on the island. This is because the protagonist/you would be on a cruise ship traveling from region to region when a sudden storm hits.

Narration Chapter 1:

Being knocked and swept away by the tides you find yourself stranded on a very large mirage island that seemingly hasn't been discovered yet.

*Note (Don't worry about your old Pokemon, you left them to the professor of the other region you were heading. Probably not the smartest idea, but you didn't expect a storm to hit in the first place on such a short trip.)

I decided to make a beach background just cause. Not the greatest but I think it turned out pretty well.

I couldn't help but take a pic of this while we were in Georgia. I miss the clouds back in Florida. Often I would use them for inspiration for drawing or characters.

It's really useful if you run out of ideas.

I thought it was a good idea to try to draw while my family was returning from our trip to Florida. It looked good. Then I thought why not color it...

It's not bad per say, but I could of definitely done better. But yeah, this is Markus, the male trainer for my region.

I might do a digital one over this and fix it. Or draw a different one with him all together.

I finally finished it! Took forever, and I ended up making more changes than I can count, but I finally colored the drawing of the female trainer for my region! It's not quite what I had in mind at first but I ended up liking it in the end. Her official name is Lylah. My next goal is to draw and color the male trainer. I did this using my tablet and I think I'll keep using it more.

Rip my hands lol.

I haven't posted anything in a few days and I felt bad so I decided to use my tablet and draw this cutie. He made this wonderful outfit using a paper plate, an old sponge, and paint. He really likes glow in the dark paint because trainers can see him in the dark.

Scolipede and Mimikyu alternate forms for my region. Thought it would be neat to have another ghost/poison type and I wanted to see Mimikyu in a paper bag. I like to imagine this is what it first wears before making other outfits for itself. To be honest I think I like Mimikyu more than Pikachu, probably because it's something newer. Electricity is cool and all, but I find Mimikyu and his cosplay too cute.
