There isn't new music, just new ideas. You can take music from somewhere and easily say it sounds like another song, and they won't be wrong.

Look at all the people saying, "You copied me" When it's a few seconds of their song sounds similar to another that came after theirs

But people can have different ideas, you could have similar melodies, it could be a different genre
