Returning to Tumblr?

Hey Sinners!

Been a hot second hasn’t it? I’ve been thinking lately about making a return to Tumblr. I miss having so many of your fun, creative prompts to inspire me and it seems like the anime fanfiction community is really starting to blossom here again.

Obviously, my first instinct would be to revive this blog, it was such a wonderful, supportive place for me to really find my writing style and build aan amazing community. But uh, you know my tastes and approach to writing are a bit different now. As an example, my number one best boy when I was running this blog was Seijuro Mikoshiba. Now it’s Tomura Shigaraki lol.

My Hero Academia, Persona, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Osomatsu-San are my current obsessions and biggest writing priorities, and probably will be for a long time. I still love and want to write for Yu-Gi-Oh!, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Kuroko no Basket, but the other series I used to write for on this blog really just aren’t a priority for me anymore.

I prefer to write angst and dysfunctional relationships, dubcon and villains — which were never off the table on this blog, but obviously, having that type of content be front and center is a pretty big tonal shift.

Also, if I were to restart a blog like this, my scheduling and approach to requests would be a bit different. When I started this blog, I was a senior in high school with a lot of free time and energy to stay up until 3 am writing any and all requests I could get. Now I’m married, in my mid-twenties, and a working professional — my fanfic writing time is quite a bit more limited as is my tolerance for interacting with any underage readers. (Actually, that latter tolerance is absolutely zero lol). What that means is, I’ll probably be a lot more picky with my requests. They’ll be exactly what they are — requests. Prompts that if I’m feeling them I’ll fulfill, and if I’m not, I’ll probably either have to turn them down or request a commission. 

So I guess what I’m getting at with all this is, is to put some feelers out for those of you (if any) who are still around. Should I overhaul this blog to fit my new vibe, or let this stay as an archive and make a new blog entirely. And if I do make a new blog, would any of you come over?

Currently, I’m leaning towards the latter option — but I’d really love to know what you all think.

The State of this Blog (It’s Moving!)

Hello all my lovely sinners! I hope you’re all doing well and staying safe during this Global Pandemic. Since a lot of us have plenty of time on our hands currently, and many may be hoping to escape with some fanfiction, I thought that this would be a good time to FINALLY get everyone up to date with the future of this blog and yours truly, Admin Ryou.

So it’s probably coming as a surprise to nobody that this blog is dead, and honestly has been for a while. You know how it goes, Admin goes away to college, doesn’t have time for fanfiction anymore and when I’m finally ready to make my return, I find that Tumblr just isn’t what it used to be. It is obviously no longer welcoming to the NSFW and Queer communities that the damn site owes pretty much all of it’s success to, so yeah, suffice it to say I’m pretty done. With Tumblr that is! Have no fear, I’m still alive and sinning!

Currently I’m working on moving ALL of the content I wrote for this blog onto AO3 - and holy crap is that a monster of  a project. I have over 300 PAGES of content from this blog! Not bad if I do say so myself lol. I’m not sure if I’ll be accepting any more requests any time soon, but I definitely am finishing up the ones that have been sitting in my inbox for the last two years and posting them on AO3, I feel like that’s only fair. I’ll also be posting new fanfiction there - mainly for My Hero Academia - my current shounen obsession - but I do have some fics in the works for Yu-Gi-Oh! And Yu Yu Hakusho as well. 

Like I said though, the great Tumblr migration of my work is going to be a HUGE project that probably won’t be apparent right away, so please consider following me on Twitter in the meantime! I’m doing a lot of NSFW fan-art there but it’s also the best place to interact with me and when I do eventually open up requests again - it’ll definitely be through Twitter rather than AO3. It’s also where I’ll be posting updates on the Tumblr migration and some fun headcanons so if you want to stay up to date with my content or stay in touch with me, head over to Twitter! 

Again, it’s mostly My Hero Academia content right now, but I’m always down to draw some sexy boys from the Sports and Shounen series that have such a special place in my heart, I’m super open to art suggestions right now, and I’d really love to make my hiatus up to all of you loyal sinners by drawing some of your requests!

For everyone’s information:

The plan for the 17th, when the adult content ban comes in, is to protest.

To do that, we are making as much noise either side of the 17th as possible, and using the site as normal.

On the 17th, dead silence.

People are saying log off but what they really mean is don’t open the site or the app.

But, on the 17th make as much noise as possible on every other platform. Tweet about it and post on facebook and instagram and everywhere else.

What this does is causes a massive dip in ad revenue for one single day. That does not make staff think ‘oh everyone’s gone let’s shut down.’ What it actually makes them think is ‘oh shit people aren’t happy and if people don’t keep using our site we’re out of money and out of jobs.’

A boycott reminds a company that the users (consumers) have the power to make their site (business) worthless with one single coordinated decision.

If you want to join in, here’s what to do:

Do:

Close all open instances of the app and site on all your devices before the 17th

Make posts before and after the 17th on tumblr and other platforms, talking about why this ban is bad

Make posts on other sites during the 17th. Flood the official tumblr staff twitter and facebook with your anger and your opinion

Come back on the 18th and check in

Don’t:

Delete the app from your phone (this doesn’t affect their revenue and since it’s off the store at the moment it’ll be hard to get back)

Delete your account. I mean you can if you want to, but if you keep your account and don’t use it you’re saying to staff that there’s still time to save it. If you delete it’s hard work to come back.

Open the app or website (including specific blogs)

Make any posts (turn down/off your queue and make sure nothing is scheduled)

Go quiet elsewhere. Make it clear that this is just about tumblr, not a mass move away from all social media.

Remember: the execs don’t care about anything but money. Shutting down the site means there’s $0 further income from it. That’s their last possible course of action. If we make it clear we’re not happy, they’ll have to do something or we can do more and more until it becomes too expensive.

Protests take commitment. They’re a defiant action against a business that is doing something wrong. They will try to scare you into not participating, because they’re scared. We hold all the power here, sometimes the execs just need to be reminded of that.

Oh thank you so much, this means so much to hear! The reason I keep the askbox closed is really the combination of the two. I have quite a few requests I still need to write and not a lot of free time to write them unfortunately. I try to write big bulks of requests in advance and then schedule them throughout the weeks but sometimes college life gets the best of me. My goal is to clear out the requests by the end of this month so hold onto your ideas!

I can totally see Sousuke not wanting to make a big deal out of Valentine's day and acting not up do anything big, but then at the last moment seeing something really nice he thinks his s/o would like and being it for them. Gonna go headcanons here, just cause I don’t know how to make these very different from each other.

Seijuro - a lover of foreplay.

Now don’t get him wrong, Seijuro loves sex, like REALLY loves it. But it’s the build up that’s really the fun for him. This boy could make-out forever without taking off a single item of clothing. It’s all about fun!

New year's kisses with Kurama!! Hope you have a great holiday btw! 💞

It was one of those rare, quiet nights that you and Kurama absolutely loved.

Typically a holiday, and a holiday as traditionally raucous as New Year’s Eve, would not be the time for you two to want to be home alone, wrapped up in blankets and watching TV, especially with a nice selection of parties for you two to attend - from office to Urameshi.

But this time, it was nice.

“Ah-choo!”

Well, almost nice.”

Kurama sat down next to you, placing a hot bowl of soup gently in your lap. He moved in to kiss you but you immediately backed away.

“Babe no. Look at me, I’m sick as a dog.” you said, voice comedicaly squeaked by the stuffiness of your nose.

“That doesn’t matter.”

“Yes it does.” you whined, “I’m not ruining the rest of your time off by getting you sick.”

“But you’re ruining my New Year’s by not letting me kiss you.” he said.

“Tough.” you said, bringing the bowl up to your mouth, and taking a long gulp, not noticing the dribble of snot being pushed out of your nose by the steam.

Kurama chuckled, pulling a tissue out and patting your nose lovingly. You pulled away from the bowl, allowing him to clean you up, but by your pout, obviously not liking it.

“And I mean come on. Look at me. You don’t want to kiss me. I’m gross.”

“You’re beautiful.” he smiled.

Your body was immediately racked by a cacophonous, phlegmy coughing fit.

“You’re still beautiful.”

You punctuated your coughing fit a hearty spit into the trash can.

You looked up at him tiredly before grabbing the TV remote and turning up the volume on the New Year’s show, “No.”

“And what a great year it will be.” the perky host segued, “And the ball to this year will drop in 10! 9”

Kurama looked over to you mischievously, a predator observing its pray as you finished the last of your soup.

“8! 7!”

“Well at least let me hold you.” Kurama said, putting his arm around your shoulders as you put down the bowl.

“6! 5”

“Fine.” you muttered, snuggling into his arms happily.

“4! 3!”

“Oh babe, you have a little...” Kurama grabbed a tissue.

“2!”

He turned your head to face him.

“1! Happy New Year!”

And he kissed you. And you melted into it, like you always did, rain or shine.

He pulled away, smiling victoriously.

Knb matchup, pls? I look cold and distant to strangers but actually I'm really shy, quiet, insecure, daydreamer and clumsy. If I fully open up to someone I become more outgoing, funny, sarcastic and a bit childish. Unluckily I tend to be harsh and grumpy when I'm upset. I've a weird sense of humour. I don't show it to people but I love romantic and/or cute stuffs. I enjoy reading and listening to music. I like art and history and in the future I want to do a job regarding those subjects.

Significant Other: Takao Kazunari. You sound like the type of person who would really benefit from a partner who is outgoing, romantic, and doesn’t mind a tough outer shell. Well, hello Takao! You think you’re hard to get close to?! This guy is best friends with Midorima, I think he can handle getting close to you. No but in all reality, Takao is a great outgoing guy that would do a great job of bringing you out of your shell without making you feel uncomfortable. He’s not so outgoing that he would be intense to you (unlike someone else on this list), and you can tell from the beginning that there’s just no pressure when he’s talking to you. He’s not looking for a right answer or good first impression, he just loves getting to know you and seeing that secret sense of humor of yours seen only by the people you most care about.

Crush: Kise Ryouta. The guy that loves what he can’t have. And that would be you. Kise, like Takao, is a very social person, but perhaps a bit too intensely so for you. Unlike Takao who is outgoing for the sake of getting to know people, Kise is outgoing to be entertained by people. He’s much more likely to put you on the spot because it’s fun for him to see you blush and sputter and squirm, and while eventually you might get used to it and certainly be entertained by him at all - at the foundation of a relationship I can’t imagine you enjoying it. You’d be drawn to someone who is just much more down to earth in the end. Also the constant presence of his fangirls is something that just puts a lot more pressure and spotlight on you then you’d ever want in your day to day life.

Best Friend: Kuroko Tetsuya. Great minds think alike they say, and you and Kuroko just have personalities that are two of a kind. And so peas in a pod you are. You guys were probably childhood friends, the only kids in elementary school that LOVED the library - you for the history books, him for the classical literature books. But just because you’re both quiet, doesn’t mean you don’t have the ability to be quite social. You had empathy for each other’s character traits and so you just clicked. But on the other side of things, you two are the type of friends who are fine with just being quiet and reading together for a while, you’re comfortable with the silence or minimal music in the background. I could see you two being really awesome study partners as well, keeping in touch okay during high school but really bonding again if you went to school together. I could see you two also becoming teachers together, the type of teachers that all the students ship together but you two are truly platonic.

Worst Enemy: Kagami Taiga. While you and Kuroko are always on the same page, you’re a book and Kagami is a fighter video game. You two don’t necessarily hate each other, especially since you’re both close friends with Kuroko, but it’s very easy for you guys to get on each other’s nerves. He’s so loud and rash and intense, while you’re so much more calm and shy at first, his intensity would probably make you very uncomfortable in the beginning, and probably annoy you as you got to know him. You’re sensitive, intelligent, and complex. Kagami is not. And boy do those differences show.

Can I have a drabble with Kuwabara taking his demon S/o, female black lioness, on a date to a human mall? Her being a really sweet and flirty but not afraid to speak her mind... If so, thank you!!

Most teenage boys did NOT like malls. They did not like sitting around waiting for you to tried on dress after shirt after shoes. And most teenage boys did not like being asked their opinions on what color made your eyes pop, because most teenage boys did not care about what made you look the cutest.

But Kuwabara was not most teenage boys.

“Oooh ___! You try this one on- and this one! This one too! You’d look cute in all of these ___-chan!” he cheered, pushing hand-fulls of hangers into your face,  “Though… of course, you’d look cute in anything…”

He blushed a bit at this. You looked between him and the obscene amount of clothes in his hands with a… forced smile.

Now most girls would love having a boyfriend that loved going to the mall with them. They’d love having a boy to fawn over them and reach the really high-up tank tops and have a ton of opinions on what pallette best matched your personality.

But you as well, were not most girls.

“So what do you think?” he asked excitedly.

You looked at the pieces for a long time. There were so many they were overwhelming. You couldn’t even decide what you were looking at let alone what you liked.

You shook your head.

Kuwabara immediately looked disappointed.

“I’m sorry I just… You know I’m kind of hungry actually. I can’t really think about clothes. Want to grab some food?” you asked.

Kuwabara immediately perked up at the notion. Okay, maybe he was a little like most boys, “Sounds great!”

“… And so this is called a food court, because uh, there’s food and stuff! I don’t really know what court has to do with it, it’s not like we’re playing basketball or there’s a judge or anything.” Kuwabara laughed loudly at his own joke, and you couldn’t help but giggle a little too. Anything to distract you from the very sticky looking chicken from Panda… Something on your styrofoam plate.

“Are you okay ___?” Kuwabara asked.

“Y-Yeah I just…” you sighed, “I don’t know. I guess I just don’t really see the appeal to all this. It’s just so intense here, with all the people and shops and restaurants and none of it is really for me, you know?”

“I guess yeah…” he said, downtrodden, “I’m sorry ___-chan. I didn’t mean to put you through something that would make you uncomfortable…”

“Uncomfortable isn’t the right word…” you said, contemplatively, “It’s more… Boring! Yeah! It’s just boring!”

This did not make Kuwabara feel much better.

“I’d have a lot more fun just spending some alone time together.” you purred.

This immediately lifted Kuwabara’s spirits.

Okay. Maybe he was a lot like most boys.

Do you have any headcanons about Shiori Minamino?

Hell yeah I do.

Well first off let’s just get one thing straight. Shiori is mom goals. Literally OTMom. Never forget it. You wish Shiori was your mom.

She is absolutely sweet as can be, but she’s not innocent. She likes to have herself a good time. The type of mom that starts of the sex talk with, “Now honey let me just start this off by saying that sex is good! Sex is really good.

Shiori loves gardening with her son, and always uses the ingredients they grow in her cooking.

She loves reading and is very smart. She probably studied English in college before getting married and becoming a stay at home mom. That is until her husband passed away.

Shiori was a single, working mom for most of Shuichi’s life, which is no easy paycheck. I imagine she probably worked as a copywriter at a small advertising firm (where she met her second husband) and probably some part-time receptionist work on the weekends. I could see her also entering local writing contests a lot and winning a decent amount - putting what she won into Shuichi’s college account. She’s slowed down a bit though since she got married. She returned back to work after she got sick, but only does her copywriting now.

She’s more excited for grandchildren more then she’ll probably ever tell Shuichi - she doesn’t want to put pressure on him.

Would love to move to the countryside when she retires someday.

I think her and Atsuko made fast friends after she found out Yusuke and her son were friends. She invited the Urameshi’s over for dinner one night and Atsuko, originally thinking she’d be snobby and too perfect upon meeting her, was immediately smitten by their similar humble lifestyles and Shiori’s secret crass sense of humor. They now go out for mani-pedi’s quite regularly now.
