Blog Going Forward

Oh man, I was not expecting the queue to catch up so fast! TOTK has had my whole attention and I haven’t actually been playing TS4 lately, lol.

For everyone that’s followed and reblogged and liked or even if you just had a little bit of passing interest - thank you!! I honestly did not expect this side thing to get any attention or have interest. Thank you thank you thank you!

Now, it’s pretty obvious that the last several posts have had huge time gaps. Not that they were showing on a daily basis, but going from finals, to winter break, to a new semester to graduation to Andre moving in, yeah it was kinda on fast forward. And it’s not because I’m trying to wrap things up:

I’m actually going to change posting styles!

Previously, the screenshots were all gameplay focused with the in-game animations/poses, with some things changed around for direction. Well, going forward I want to try and be more...artful about the screenshots. Put more work into them.

I’m also going to slightly change the storytelling.

I’m aiming for a style that’s narrative, but inspired by how I play the game. There’s been hints of it with some posts, but I want to really lean into “narrative gameplay”. The story will still focus on the Reinhold household and will not have side stories like a generational gameplay, but will show how other’s affect the family! If any of that makes sense, lol.

So next time that there’s a post, it will be after a six month timeskip.

Andre had more things than Mallory was expecting, but they’ll make it work.

Andre stopped by to surprise Mallory for Love Day.

She then invited him to stay the night~

And of course, one of the first things Mallory does is give Andre a spare key, saying he can come over whenever he wants.

No more living in an old, run down, and constantly leaking dorm.

Home sweet home.

The kids are gonna be alright.

Vicki gave a very...impassioned speech as valedictorian.

The weeks flew by, and before Mallory knew it, graduation was right around the corner.

Winter break is over, spring has sprung and with it comes a new semester at Foxbury.

Andre came over to teach Mallory how to ice skate but... her Clumsy nature strikes again.

Snow has hit the ground just in time for school to close for the winter!

Andre: Mallory, I wanted you to meet me here cause I had to talk to you about something important. I like you a lot, and you get along great with my parents and my sister and...would you like to be official?

Mallory: You silly guy.

She catches him off guard with a kiss.

Mallory: Of course I’ll be your girlfriend.

Things aren’t all bad, though. Andre had asked Mallory out to the park for a very important chat.

You can’t get along with everyone.

Daisy: Good job picking that movie, Mal! It wasn’t totally boring like I thought.

Austin: Really, D?

Vicki: Here we go...

Mallory: Do you have something against me, Daisy? I’ve been nothing but nice but you just keep being passive-aggressive towards me. What did I do?

Finals are over! With a huge weight off her shoulders, Mallory called in for a pizza and put on a movie for everyone as a little celebration.
