I was talking in twt how Hidan probably has a bunch of diseases because of the unsanitary nature of drinking strangers blood

You know what fucks me up the more I think about it? Hiashi gets to live until he’s old as hell. He gets to see his grand kids - even tho he fucking exiled Hinata. He shows no remorse over Neji’s death, he didn’t move an inch to save his own kid or his estranged nephew, and even gets the love of his daughters back. 

Then we have Shikaku and Inoichi, who managed to try and save the Shinobi army, entrusting in their kids until the very last second before they die. They don’t get to see Shikadai and Inojin. They don’t get to grow old and watch their kids grow into the shinobi they are in Boruto. They loved their kids and showed it more than most fathers in Konoha. And they get to die. 

Shikamaru and Ino didn’t need this character arc. Neji and Hinata did. 

We were robbed of seeing old man Shikaku and Inoichi. Robbed of seeing a healthy familial relationship between Neji, Hinata, and Hanabi.  

Bort really tried to give the worst man a fucking redemption.
