Please help an unemployed brown mixed disabled trans person sustain their family + help their parents leave venezuela
Hello tumblr dot com users! I'm Ren, a trans and disabled venezuelan trying to get back into art. And as of the 1st of nov 2024 I'm officially unemployed and really, really broke š„²
If you want a more extended version of our situation you can reffer to my last post thread from months ago, I decided to finally create this one as an updated version.
Summarizing and updating extremely quickly what has happened this last time: The humanitarian Parole is no longer available, The Darien has become way more dangerous and inaccesible to cross and the Panama goverment is going to get toughter, considering this is a mostly usamerican site I hope I don't have to mention what happened this month over there, and obviously there's certainty shit isn't going to get any better from this point onwards. Things have changed so much that my mother started considering emigrating to Spain.
As some of the people close to me know, I really dislike being in the necessity of e-begging without at least offering something in return to people helping me because I don't feel ok doing so otherwise. That's why in this post I have several avenues to help me depending on what anyone might preffer.
Our current plan is to keep saving as much as we can while we wait and hope for a relative of my father to present a Family Reunification TPS while there is still chance, if neither of those don't work or something happens, we'll help either him or my mother go to Spain instead. We are definitively not giving up, but that doesn't mean things didn't get harder.
āSome of the most urgent needs we're currently trying to cover:
7-12$ Bug poison. We have an extreme problem of cockroach infestation
20-25$ Rispheridona resupply
10-15$ Glasses reparation
6-10$ Shower reparation
+30$ Mother's car revision
+20$ By-Weekly groceries
+15$ General Medicines
You can make as little as a 1 USD donation by simply buying a high quality piece I've done recently!
I'm also currently still offering extremely cheap comms for little chibi doodles like the ones in the pics below!!
Either way. If you can't of don't wish to donate or commission. Please know that just by sharing this around as much as possible is enough to help. Thank you <3

I need people to stop acting like studs are so aggressive and mean or are basically men. Youāre racist and misogynistic. Studs are literally some of the sweetest people on the planet and have always acted as protectors of our community, Itās time we protect them back. This includes trans women/trans fems who identify as studs!!!
TERFS FUCK OFF

Fish Flag
Original Flag, Inspiration, and Palette by @estrogenism (Thank you for the permission to edit this flag!)
What does Fish mean?
Fish is a black exclusive term for a femme lesbian. This label was first recorded as a counterpart the label 'Stud' in a Masters of Arts thesis titled, 'A Study of a Public Lesbian Community' by Ethel Sawyer. Black masculinity is to Stud as Black femininity is to Fish.
The Flag: Symbols and Colors
School of Black Fish: In the original flag I found on my dash, estrogenism uses an image of a tropical fish to represent the body diversity among black femmes. I decided to go with a school of fish to represent the community among black femmes. Initially, I wanted the school to look like a crescent moon to represent femininity further, but I wasn't fuckin' with it.
Colors:
The darkest purple: Womanism (a feminist school of thought centered around the black experience)
2nd darkest purple: Black sapphicism
2nd lightest purple: Black sapphic history
Lightest purple: Unity between all fish (trans, cis, intersex, aspec, arospec etc)
Lightest pink: Subversion of femininity
2nd Lightest Pink: Vulnerability (????)
Orangey-Pink: Persistence
Red: Love
Recommended Reading
Femme: Feminists, Lesbians, and Bad Girls (Edited by Laura Harris and Elizabeth Crocker) [There are two relevant segments. Fish Tales and Fish Pond]
A Public Study of a Lesbian Community by Ethel Sawyer (This study was done by a heterosexual woman. Due to the time it is from, harmful stereotypes of both studs and fish are portrayed in this thesis. These misconceptions are incredibly dated.)
Note: Based on the reading that I have done (Including the original thesis itself), some bisexual women were involved in the lesbian bar culture and identified with the label Fish. Out of the 7 fish interviewed by Sawyer, 2 out of 7 (28%) enjoyed sex with men. That being said I donāt mind or care if black bisexual femmes use this flag. But please understand the difference between presenting femininely and femme culture within the sapphic context (specifically butchfemme/studfemme/stud-fish community) before using this label.
THIS IS THE FIRST FLAG I MADE SO PLEASEEEE BE KIND
Software/Website used: Canva (Design and Assets) and Coolors (palette picking)

Please help Nader!
I don't often ask for this, but this out of urgency.
This post is on behalf of Nader @abdalsalam1990, as I have a large following which could help it get traction.
This campaign has been vetted! (#4 on the list) and the photos above confirm the legitimacy of this gofund.
Nader is 17 years old and his family is in Gaza facing dire circumstances. Food is scarce, prices are high, and there are shortages in water. They, like countless others suffering during this war, have already had to relocate many times, and their home is destroyed. They do not have enough money to safely relocate right now, or a stable source of income, as places of work have been destroyed.
Nader had just lost their uncle to the vile Israeli occupiers, and they're desperately asking for donations. Any amount of money can help Nader and his family escape this destruction.
They're not asking for much, just ā¬10 should suffice!
This campaign currently has (as of the time I write this post) ā¬13,575 out of ā¬50,000 raised, with 783 donations
I have donated myself and I know a lot of my followers can afford to donate at least something. It's not a hard donation process, so I hope you take a moment of your day to show some support.
