“Oh, I appreciate it! What is your friend’s name?” She held her pot close and smiled warmly. Naomi really liked this weird lady... she would definitely have to visit again sometime.
You can definitely look it over if you want to.
“ oh dear i couldn’t possibly take something as important as this away from you..but i could maybe point you to the right direction? theres a small town just west of here , A human friend of mine could perhaps help you? “ Belliah handed the pot back to Naomi with a smile plastered on her face. If she couldn’t help , she knew of a human that could .
“ best of luck! and do come back anytime!”

The pot was crafted from stoneware clay and glazed white. Though it’s age would be difficult to determine, it showed no signs of cracking or breakage.
“Hearing was the first sense that I gained. I’ve heard her voice, even though I couldn’t understand the words back then. By the time I opened my eyes and stepped out of my pot, I was all alone.”
Naomi, as she finally decided to call herself, offered the empty pot to Belliah. “You can definitely look it over if you want to. In any case, I wouldn’t say that I haven’t learned anything. At least I can cross out one possibility, and any step in the right direction is progress, no matter how small the step.”
She didn’t know her name? oh dear this seemed like one of those mystery’s Belliah read during her isolation here. black eyes examined each letter and possible crack in the pot , looking for any evidence of age or wear and tear. Perhaps Naomi was the owners name? either way it seemed like the only clue for the creatures past.
“Naomi is a pretty name! But do you remember anything besides that ? is this pot the only piece left from your origins? Perhaps i can dust the pot for prints? if you dont mind of course! I would rather not leave you empty handed when you leave.”

A bright green color spread over her cheeks in the equivalent of a blush. “Well, thank you! You’re a cool person, too.”
She looked down at the plant pot in her hands before holding it out for Belliah to see. It was a medium sized, hand thrown and glazed ceramic pot with the word Naomi written on the front of it.
“This is the pot that I was planted in... it might have been made for me, but I don’t know anything for sure. I always wondered if Naomi is supposed to be my name. In any case, I guess you can call me that until I find out the truth.”
are you human?
that question echoed throughout her mind , was she human? the body was human no doubt but… is that really what she is? just a human corpse of what was. This left her in a silent trance like state , whatever liquid was in the air seemed to be sucked out and gather around the witches feet. the liquid pooling around her ankles , black and with no light evident as belliah stared blankly.
“human….hmm…” she seemed to be struggling to answer properly oh dear she was making a mess!

There was something comfortable and familiar about the sudden drop in humidity. Hmm... this didn’t seem like human behavior, but what did she know?
“I was only wondering because I’ve never seen one in person before. It’s okay if you don’t know. I don’t know what I am either.”

The plant smiled softly. “It’s okay. I can’t say that I’m not disappointed, but I can say that I’m not surprised. You don’t really sound like I remember her.”
She tilted her head to the side as she studied the witch. “Miss Belliah, are you human?”
“I really just have a few questions, Miss…?”
“Belliah! call me belliah! now lets get started shall we? what brings you to my ..humble home?“

“I'm just searching out magic people... witches, magicians and the like, you know. There are things I want to know about.”
She paused, looking down for a moment and then back up. “I suppose there is no other way to ask this than bluntly... Did you create me?”
“I really just have a few questions, Miss…?”

“Oh, yes, let’s!” She quickly stepped inside, not quite having to duck into the doorway. Is this what excitement feels like? “I really just have a few questions, Miss...?”

“Hello ma’am! Are you a magic person? Uh, er, I should say, someone familiar with magic? I just have some questions... if you don’t mind...” She trailed off as she watched the woman with those black eyes. Pupiless! Like hers! How neat!

As the atmosphere shifted, she definitely considered turning back. No! She was here for a reason, and there was no going back now. What was the worst that could happen anyway?
She paused in her movement as all of the attention turned to her. “Hi!” She blurted out to the birds nervously before continuing to walk forward. Her steps on the porch seemed loud in the silence. She knocked on the front door with one hand as the other held her pot close, and waited.

The tall green creature stepped gingerly through the forest. She held a plant pot close to her chest as she looked at her surroundings. This part of the woods was darker and more overgrown than she was used to...
“Hello?” She called out, quietly at first and then louder, “Hello? Is there anyone out here?”
