you're wanted. by crowds of people. a heart-throb, who people hang posters of in their room and tell their friends is "so dreamy." you may not even be a celebrity, you could just be the star of your school. but what you and rockstars have in common is that your entire routine is very well-rehearsed, and you know exactly the right words, the right looks, to draw people's attention. you're a performance, you're an act, a hyperbolized version of a human being that others can get lost in. it's so easy for people to crush on you because they don't realize they don't know anything about you. you're an archetype, a character for others to project onto, and damn if it isn't a fun role to play.

🏆 "Did it work? Like you'd tell me. Say, speaking of skin..." Spinbot grabbed at one of his own eye ridges, and began up pull it as hard as he could upwards; ACTUALLY peeling it back to reveal what lies beneath... pure gold plating.

🏆 "Are... Are you serious? You mean you... ACTUALLY believed Sonic EVERY time he told you he had everything under control? Wow, I'm.. shocked, honestly... You know, he was crying for help every time he told you guys not to worry." The android chuckled, shrugging his shoulders as he walked on, only turning once he was blocking the sunset with his silhouette, his visage glowing in the dark.

🏆 Metallix's arrival certainly did gain attention, with quite a few civilians not daring to make eye contact, and others running to the nearest terminals... clearly they were reporting on the intruder's arrival in this Zone. On a closer inspection, most of these Mobians were Robians, either partially or fully roboticized.

🏆 It was barely a few seconds later that a gust of dry wind blew through, kinetic energy crackling in the air as a twisted image of a fallen hero stepped up, a brightly shining cyan grin plastered across his muzzle, eyes beaming with joyful malice.

🏆 "Heeeey, Metal! Ain't seen THAT look in a while... You sightseeing? Come to take a look around New Robotropolis?" Spinbot inquired, adopting a more casual demeanor.

The sounds of a Warp Ring opening could be heard - the metallic footsteps of a familiar yet imposing face were heard. It seemed that in the first bits of travel outside their zone, Metallix had found themselves arriving in a place that seemed...for lack of a better word, bleak.

Metallix could sense a familiar energy yet it was one that was...warped, distorted even. The Metal Overlord took it upon himself to look around and see what or who was giving him this feeling.

But as they approached the center of some city streets, with Mobians looking upon them with a sense of fear and confusion...perhaps that would be enough to alert this familiar presence to show themselves?

🏆 FINALLY the small talk had ended. Seeing Surge ready to fight put Spinbot in a good mood, his thermal vents opening up... suddenly, he clapped his hands together, venting out burning hot steam that seemed to scorch the very air and heat up the catwalks and pipes-- a few bursting from the pressure. The heat encouraged static electricity to build up, allowing him to build up kinetic energy much more quickly.

🏆 “Ladies first... not.” With a jolt of kinetic energy, Spinbot bolted towards Surge, in a full on spin dash.

🏆 If Spinbot were insulted, it didn't seem to stick. He just stood there, smiling soullessly at Surge, waiting for further input. No idle ticks, nothing that made one think of someone alive... he really was like a statue, or a trophy.

🏆 "The guard? Sure! I was actually told to come here, clean the place up and get rid of any tech scavengers. I heard you get here while I was cleaning up the bodies." A very cheery demeanor, "You wanna help or join 'em, champ?"

🏆 "The guard? Sure! I was actually told to come here, clean the place up and get rid of any tech scavengers. I heard you get here while I was cleaning up the bodies." A very cheery demeanor, "You wanna help or join 'em, champ?"

🏆 "It WAS a pretty pathetic end to the HERO, but now I'm here... not really a pet, that's kind of weird. I'd say more like a mascot if you wanted to get REALLY demeaning." Spinbot shrugged his shoulders, the flickering lights of this rundown factory occasionally illuminating his features... but his glowing cyan lights were mostly handling that.

🏆 "I'm his strongest enforcer! Crushing freedom at the speed of sound, babe. Nobody does it like this hedgehog. Sonic's dead, I'm Spinbot." He gives them a wink, "You feel me?"
