one of the most interesting things i’ve learned about my dad in adulthood is that he was very scared of hellraiser when he first saw it.

i only found out because i showed him my puzzle lament configuration and he visibly flinched and jumped back.

he’s redneck adjacent and i just never really considered that anything actually scared him

i just want to congratulate myself on my impulse control because when a lady on the bus told me she loved the rainbow in my hair because it reminded her of jehovah’s promise to never flood the world again, i didn’t tell her that it would be hard to burn the world during armageddon if the ground was wet
