Flavored spicy pork chops with caramelized onions #porkchops #onions #currypowder #chilipowder #turmeric #spicyporkchops #spicypork #garlic #ginger #pork #porkmeat 2-4 pieces of pork chops 1 inch piece of ginger 6 cloves of garlic 2 tablespoons of curry powder or Italalian seasoning 1 teaspoon red chili powder 1 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon black pepper 1 large onion thinly sliced 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon vinegar 1/4 cup oil Crush the ginger and garlic to a paste and place in a large bowl. Add the curry powder or Italalian seasoning, red chili powder, turmeric powder, black pepper, salt, vinegar and 2 tablespoons of oil stir and make a paste. Taste for salt and add more if needed and stir well. Rub the paste on both sides of the pork chops and set aside. Heat the rest of the oil in a large pan and place the pork chops in it. Cook on slow fire for 5 minutes flipping frequently. Add the sliced onions to the pan, cover & cook for 2 minutes. Push the onions to the side to cook in the oil & pork fat for couple of minutes while turning the pork chops couple of times. Stir and cook the onions on the side while flipping the chops to make the sides golden brown for 2-3 minutes.
