*puts the ice cream down and cuddles her close* Come on baby girl, have some medicine, yeah? *reaches over for the bottle of medicine syrup and a spoon, pouring some onto it and holding it out* Open wide, princess. 

-shakes her head before crawling into his lap-

*giggles* bed! *kisses him softly*

Mm, bed bed, or bed? *smirks*

Poor darling. Is ice cream not helping? Maybe you should have some medicine and have a little nap.

-nods slowly before taking the next spoonful-

Good girl, well done baby. Does it hurt to swallow, princess? Just nod if it does. *strokes her hair, getting another spoonful*

-wraps her lips around the spoon, swallowing the ice cream with a whimper-

*smiles sympathetically, stroking her hair before getting a spoonful of ice cream and holding it out for her* My poor princess, ay, its okay.

-crawls up to the pillows and lays against them, coughing into her hands before he gets in beside her, looking up at him and opening her mouth slightly, silently asking her to feed her some of the ice cream because she can’t talk-

*cuddles her close* Come on baby girl, lets go have a cuddle and watch a film. *walks them back to his room, letting them in and laying her on the bed before getting them both a bowl of ice-cream and sitting with her*

-nods slightly, sniffling as she looks around-

I'm really sorry baby. I just.. after you said about.. about having a baby, I got really overwhelmed and I just really wanted to see my mum so I just went. That was really selfish, I should have told you or took you with me... I just.. yeah. You surprised me.
