FINALLY I MADE A SHIP PROGRESS FNDJSBSJAJ-

I really want Mordecai and Harkin together since they can both be total nerds, haha. I’m thinking of making a comic about how they slowly develop feelings for each other—probably thanks to Bonnie ( ꈍ◡ꈍ)✨ I had this idea where Bonnie actually meets Mordecai first before harkin, maybe at the library since she’s such a bookworm. It happens in the morning, and she finds him interesting. Still working on it, but the comic will probably start with a school setting, where some other Lacka-OCs will show up as Bonnie’s classmates. 🫶🏻

Honestly, I use the smudge tool quite a lot than brushes when it comes to rendering! I start by softly blending colors using the smudge tool, adjusting the opacity and pressure depending on how smooth or textured I want the surface to look.

After I get a good base, I go back in and add a bit of contrast around certain edges—especially where I want things to feel more defined or pop out using a brush I like to call "pen (fade)" (On Ibis they have that). Though that part helps balance the softness with a bit of structure! It’s really just a lot of back-and-forth between blending and re-adding shape and depth. Nothing too fancy but it works for me!
