You should make the fanfic an AU title. Cause that concept is A+

Basically, limit yourself to canon and see how far you can stretch whats in game! There's a lot of wiggle room I think y'all will be surprised with how much freedom you have.

I wish Rosie's Undertale story had more people asking about it. Rosie is so sweet and stubborn. I love the idea of it being an actual world Flowey has stuck in a loop and her being like a "mod pack" it makes me want to write again. I hope someday you get fan art and recognition. I hope your friends design of MTT gets love and adoration! I can see how much love, joy, and grief are going into this story. It's beautiful even with all its flaws.

Wait your Mettaton plays an Omnichord?! THAT'S NEW.

Yea, I dunno why, but I imagine Mettaton playing both the Omnichord and the Keytaur! I feel like he'd enjoy how they can both sound like twinkling stars. And it'd be perfect because of how his arms function. He seems to like upbeat music and it matches his personality in my opinion.

Also, I think he can sing really well, but sings poorly on purpose for the bit. I like to imagine on day Burgerpants is walking out of the resort and he hears this angelic voice and he sees it's Mettaton and he just goes, "Ain't no way it's him."

He also loves DDR. :)

Thanks for the grim reminder that most of the Undertale cast are fae and not to be messed with. Holy fucking shit why did you make Asgore so scary. He's supposed to be a push over. 😭

What can I say, I love reminding people that Asgore is a King who has duties to his people. He is kind and fair. But, he is still someone who poses an actual threat and holds an absurd amount of power. In fact if you want specifics about the fae and folklore creatures I use as inspiration...

A little side by side. I tried to add in a bit more of the canon design as well as some popular head canons the fandom shares. Examples being the lipstick and makeup in two versions and keeping his hair closer to canon length. (Art in the top left is by my friend Izzy who passed in 2018.)

If you want to draw him just tag this blog. And feel free to send in asks about him. I BEG. This took a few days because I was trying to be careful and not alter the design too much. I wanted to get super detailed, but realized that was my perfectionism speaking.

I am posting the last chapter of my story tomorrow and then I'm going back and correcting grammar and spelling. Apparently, I have a bad habit of using the wrong word, but because it's spelled properly it's not being caught. And I wanna add more stuff in and make it flow a lil smoother. But, 14 chapters in 2 weeks is a little nuts... but it does feel like a weight was lifted off of my chest.

Honestly. I'd like to know how Rosie would fit into Deltarune. It's more of a supernatural thing going on naturally vs what Undertale is. I think she'd be great, but also her and Mettaton would be inverted. She'd be helping him find confidence. It'd be so cute.

Honestly, that's a good question and it's one I was just discussing with @cakeclaws! We decided Metta and Rosie were probably in an online relationship. And eventually her and Alphys discovered they had a mutual friend. Alphys has the knowledge about engineering to get a body working, but none of the artistry to bring it to life. Rosie had the artistry and knowledge of human biology, but not the engineering skills. So, they come together to build Metta a body! It worked as a collaborative piece! Alphys had something to show for her Doctorates review and Rosie had an amazing piece for her art thesis before she graduated. And I will admit, yes Rosie is far more confident in the case of Deltarune she still has her chronic illnesses. She still has functional depression, but she's more like Luisa in Encanto verses Isabella in Encanto with how she expresses herself. That's to say: In Deltarune she's having to show boat and act strong despite the heavy weight of family dynamics. But, it's clear she's still shy and not very confident in herself even if she knows who she is. Very fake it till you make it.

In Undertale she's trying to find herself, but feels pressure because of the fact she feels like an outsider despite being well loved by a community. She feels like she has to perform and "Be a good human." or loose whatever support she has.

And she still had the similar fate as her Undertale counterpart, just it happened when she was much younger! She was 5 vs 34. (Chapter 13 dropped on Ao3 btw!) It was a surefire way to save her life. Which actually allows her to view and explore the Dark World. Which allows me to tie in the Monster Form I have for her in The Arcana. Which adds her back in as a "Vaccine" of sorts. But, her role is far more minor. More like a shop NPC I'd say. (She and Tenna butt heads a lot ngl. But somehow Spamton ends up being a friend? He ends up being similar to Jiji from Kiki's delivery service in playing her inner critic, but in a way that's meant to keep her safe. Where as Tenna is Mettaton's over inflated ego.)

But, her relationship with Mettaton just gets to grow a bit more naturally overall. They both still end up confident in the end sure. But, it's less one sided. They get to help each other grow. Set boundaries and express themselves more. After all a girlfriend who loves and supports you whole heartedly and is able to bring your visions to life? I think he's a little spoiled lol.

And yes, she's still a "Sister" to the skeleton brothers. (Don't remind me we haven't seen Pap lmao)

I may adjust details and etc as I play the game of course, but for now there's limited Mettaton so I am just throwing stuff at a wall and having fun.
