Assassination Classroom Episode 12 Review (In a Nutshell)
Oh my god this series is getting better and better…
Episode 12 of assassination classroom consisted of a baseball game the Kunugigaoka Junior High School held. A character known for his baseball skills as shown in the earlier episodes, Sugino, met his old friends that he was once with in the same club before transferring to the E Class and getting kicked out. One of those “friends” Shindo mocked him with the others making Sugino want to win on the upcoming baseball game. After notifying Koro sensei they soon started heavily training, with Koro sensei mimicking Shindo’s exact moves and learning everyone’s strengths and weaknesses which he later uses to their advantage.
When the actual game starts the main characters use cheeky maneuvers as Koro-sensei provides them with instructions to score some points and lower the A-class’s mentality after which soon the principle notices the uprising of the E-Class and takes in charge of coaching the A-Class. He manipulates and strengths their confident to use E-class’s tricks against them. The A-Class brings up its points giving the other team no chance to win. Soon Koro-sensei alerts everyone to use the same dirty rules and with the E-Class’s assassination abilities they humiliate the other team and win the baseball game.
The intensity of this episode was honestly just incredibly enjoyable to watch. I’m glad the series doesn’t just focus on one thing as assassinating Koro Sensei but they go in depth of the challenges the E-Class face in their everyday life.
Disregarding my summary of the episode the game starts out before we actually know what’s happening. With a good use of flashbacks this episode had a really nice hook. Instead of a static way telling a story they use dynamic techniques to interpret different information and tinker with the viewer’s expectations.
The one thing I’ve taken to dislike is the small amount of story the other characters have but with only a 24 episodes long series I guess this isn’t very reasonable but more of an annoying issue in a sense.
Other than that this series is doing very well. >.<

Consistent Anime Mistakes
Hai, welcome to a new born baby I call my blog. Here I’ll try and organize my thoughts and give my 2 cents about everything ever (well anime only).
But don’t drown in my pool of thoughts I really don’t like responsibilities.
OK moving on…
So I like a lot of shows trust me - from gore to romance anime - but when characters have 0 development ((absolutely none)) that gets to me. I find anime different from Americanized shows because of how they present everything as a movie. There is this plot that grabs you by your neck until you finish the whole series in 2 days sleeping only 2 hours (Tots not speaking from experience) but when the characters do absolutely the same thing each episode I slowly suffocate.
I slowly slide down my chair as my brain cells overload with criticism.
Now you can find this mostly in slice of life shows with which you might say that it’s all about the comedy and not the characters progression nor the plot. I agree with you. You might just get away with pure comedy but shows in my liking need to have diversion and maybe some intensity or at least curiosity. A lot of anime shows are based on the comedy formula consisting basic plots and characters. Nothing too special. Nothing too big. Most people are attracted to more memorable intriguing plots and/or characters if done right. A good example would be Barakamon.
Comedy - Yes
Plot - Yes x2
Character Development - Over x9000
