Today in the library.....

A little boy checked out a bunch of books. As he was leaving with his parents, his mom proudly said, "You have so many books -- you just love to read!"

In reply, the little boy excitedly yelled, "No, I don't like to read! I only look at them for the pictures!"

His mother didn't really have a response for that, and I couldn't stop laughing at his honesty.

Today in the library.....

A nun walked by our display table with free candy on it and -- laughing -- said, "Get away from me, Satan!"

She took a piece of chocolate on her way out.

A patron needed help because she couldn't find the 'I Spy' books for her child and the irony of the situation still resonates with me.
