i am just so obsessed with the fact that buffy’s story is one of the very very few superhero narratives that doesn’t end by reasserting the status quo. “chosen” isn’t just about saving the world. it’s about changing the world. like you can just do that. you can tell that story. the people who have recognized that a system is unjust and actively seek to change that system aren’t the bad guys who have a point but they’re just too radical. they’re our heroes and they’re right and they succeed. i think about this every day.

Giles freaking out about the new school library being all computers is very real of him and i agree with him entirely actually

A library should have books like its literally the book place the main thing should be books

Sure cool have some computers in there but it should in fact be mostly books he was very right to believe that there should be books in the book room

His crash out about it was valid actually

This is only partly influenced by me liking him but i do very much agree that a library aka the book place should in fact have books
