Holland’s favorite scenes with Dylan are the ones with banter. She loves when they roll their eyes at each other and when Stiles walks behind her trying to catch up. When asked about when Malia came along, Holland said Lydia refrained more from it because she seems a little jealous.

According to this post, Sterek was the second most active ship on AO3 in 2015. If anyone was having any doubt about Sterek, just take a look at that. It tells you all you need to know that Sterek isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. One half of our ship is OFF the goddamn show and we still managed to have the second highest amount of new fic posted in 2015 alone. 

And this was the year we all suspected Hoechlin would either not be in season 5 much or Sterek wouldn’t have many scenes together in season 5, and then when we found out Hoechlin was leaving the show, and then had to deal with Derek not being on the show. Still, we generated the second highest amount of fics this last year.

How amazing is that? 

Sterek is still so alive, and the fact that the Sterek fandom can continue to imagine all these different stories for Sterek, all these different worlds in which they fall in love, is amazing, even without new material in canon, even with the emotional beating we’ve gotten for so long. 

Sterek is still here, the fandom is here and we’re not going anywhere. Just remember that, if you’re feeling down about Sterek and what has happened on the show with them and in fandom.
