Help I found out about sparklecare from a random tweet and I just kinda went and followed the 3 official blogs without really interacting with anything and now my entire recommended is just sparklecare

HI COMETCARE FANS. for the past couple months ive been working on designs for some side characters and i wanted to share them publicly (because i've done that before and it's fun :3)

aster is one of sly's online friends, he's an artist like sly and works on a ferrie webcomic. they do a lot of commission art and afford to live on their own because of it. he also really likes space stuff, which is where their comic takes place!

mars is a kid at the comet's high school. she's into sci-fi movies and books. she seems to have a secret of some kind...

crayola is another kid at their school. he's a paint artist and does abstract art and such.

pinch is soob's boyfriend, he's a (semi) professional clown! he's super silly and loves to prank people, like using his balloon-self to create static electricity and zap people!

jerry is another one of sly's online friends. he is also an artist really into warrior cogs, and he just really loves cogs in general. he volunteers at a ferry shelter and loves to care for cogs and other small ferries.

pinch is my personal favorite. you can probably see why!!!

this is kind of personal, but i love sparklecare because it got me through tough times. created to cope with trauma, and i happened to discover it one day and it helped me cope with my personal trauma.

the story, the characters, everything. it helped me through shit, and i couldnt be ever more grateful. it sounds silly that a lil webcomic gave me strength, but it did, and i am forever thankful.

and anyone reading this, make sure to try to eat something even if its tiny and drink some water today, yeah? if you have meds, try and take em. youre super strong an i, behind this anon, proud of you, no matter how silly it sounds. be safe and take care of yourself. <33 /p!

Let me give my positive liking about the comic.Originally I found out about it from a xenogender of all things in nov of 2022.Let me just tell you that Jay fortune is one of my fav character,I love how they has some stuff I have; shortness (except I’m Barry’s height),glasses,interest in animals,drawing,being lucky,and being indecisive.I like all of the characters and the info they have and how they change throughout the years! And I think comet care is a cute au imo,the characters are diverse so you might see one that’s like you or have similar interests ect!

I love how unique every character is too! Jay is a fave of mine :D.

I feel like my favorite thing about Sparklecare in general HAS to be the community, and genuinely from the bottom of my heart this has probably been the nicest community of individuals I’ve ever met in my LIFE

Of course it’s kinda iffy in some parts, but WOW does it feel like a breath of fresh air to just have a audience of fans that just have so much joy to share ^^

Giving a one off example, uhh yes I’m Hemeruni hi hi yes that’s me, for the longest time I’ve genuinely believed that this goofy ship wouldn’t get accepted because it’s kinda… out there in a sense?? (It’s not really a ship it’s more so a Queer Platonic Friendship but whatever) but uhh

It eventually became semi canon in CometCare one day and BOOM, everything changed! And even BEFORE THAT I was receiving fanart of these two and whatnot!! It was so comforting to have this thought process that eventually became APART OF THE WORLD of a offical AU!

Sorry I kinda rambled for a bit but genuinely I love this community and I’m happy that I’m able to enjoy my work as they enjoy mine <3

sparklecare makes me so happy it’s one of those projects that you can just feel the love for its creation oozing out of it. it’s helped me through a lot of tough times and seeing the characters go through similar struggles to myself makes me feel really comforted. cometcare also makes me feel so comforted, seeing everything turn out okay for the comets and everyone gives me hope for myself and my future. the entire series is just full of joy for me and has helped my experiences with disability and trauma a lot! i love the characters i love the world it’s all crafted so wonderfully and meticulously. i just love this series so much :))

YES YES YES! You can almost see the love oozing out from the comics, the art, pretty much all of it! That's what got me into it back around 2020. I could sense the joy these characters brought Eve, and it made me happy :D.

This is not the only thing that makes me love the comic but it’s an added bonus:

I love the idea that kiddos don’t need to rely on romantic or sexual attachment, so anything is possible. Even if only for my character design fueled ass, that’s very special

Also in terms of shipping: the dynamics don’t have to be limited to sex or romance. You can basically throw anyone into a little terrarium just to see how they do. The bugs are scurrying and I am taking notes.

Exactly! The ships are so interesting, with each having their own unique dynamics. My fave is Doolly, but I like Carroomi, Barruni, Jorange, Melcyn, and Moodies too!
