Fighting sickness, but that wont keep me from progressing somehow. Fixed some minor issues with interactions and scalable windows. Started to program the first prototype for traps, player health, interaction between health and traps.

finished the first part of the pathway. Now have to make some variations for crossings and such. Also walls. Have to program something soon again, but its this is fun right now.

Got myself a refreshment on how particles work in godot. Soooo... small update, Torches now have fire vfx :3 Should add some sfx to it... Day 8 ... slow and steady, step by step

After trying different approaches of rendering layers, so the torch doesn't get stuck in the wall visually.

Putting the torch on a different layer just made the shadows dissapear and it had weird lighting.

So I came to the conclusion that i'm just gonna make the player collision bigger

There. Problem solved :P

It's still clipping a bit but who cares.

Since I've the muse again to work on art stuff, i m gonna do just that.

Mainly interacting stuff and the wall modular set.

Finished the Torch, not sure if I want to go with the artstyle yet...

But hey more mood while programming :3

Next: I finally have to make an extra render layer, so the torch doesnt dissappear behind the wall.

small update to my modular interactable script: it can now get text and dsiplay it on UI

Small steps towards a playable demo (maybe?) - Player has now crosshair (small point) - crosshair scans if objects are equipable or interactable - crosshair changes if obj gets scann - interaction scans if you have, in this case the torch in hand to light other unlit torches trying to programm everything to be modular so i dont have to write thousands of scripts I also changed textures a bit to get more into the mood, while developing

my brain already scoped way to far, lol

Its not much yet, but i started working on a lil spooky game today. Walk through a labyrinth in dark, is something with you in there? Who knows... - first part done - player can walk and rotate camera - random sfx to set the mood and ambient sounds - placed some placeholder maps

Can i finish it? lets see, wish me luck :3

I fall under the trans umbrella, since there is a lot of variation it can be hard to figure out what label someone likes. take your time, took me ~ 10 years

For me its genderfluid or nonbinary. Transfem

As to how i figured it out.

Signs might be that you can't look at yourself in the mirror, being jealous of opposite gender clothing and because of that not care what you look like. not liking how your assigned sex/gender socializes. the expectation set for you depending on said gender.

I had a wonderful girlfriend (now wife) who helped me along the way. First I tried crossdressing and i smiled for the first time because I liked myself. Over the years I wasn't happy how my body looked (shape and body hair) I wanted this to be normal how i dress and my body to match my image. silikon breasts were great but i always wanted them to be there. I told my wife and she got upset understandably, but she worked through it. At the time i tried being a trans woman, over dressing and thick make up. took me a while to notice that this wasn't it either. so toned it down to tomboy level and it was much better, although i m sometimes in the mood for over the top goth mom style. After a while I started HRT to make my body match my brain and it took a bit of adjusting, also with the dosage but now i m way more happier.

Long story short, its a journey. try stuff see how it feels, if its not for you take a step back. Doesn't mean your faking it or something stupid along those lines. Its fine to figure it out and its so much freeing not to repress thoughts and feelings.

Like me being Bi, took me a while to recognise this but since i m now "allowed" to make comments about how attractive men are, its like releasing pressure of my brain.

Hey, to any nonbinary/trans/etc people who see this, could you (if you feel comfortable/want to) tell me how you began exploring your gender identity/ how you figured it out?? I’ve been questioning some things and don’t even know where to begin with my self-search
