Suprise! I'm sick again! I may look like a boatswain and smell like a corpse, but the shows are still a go for the weekend. Please try and check us out at Maxwells this Friday with The Lawndarts and The High School Sweethearts. We're very excited to be playing Maxwells and it's been a personal dream of mine ever since I was a kid going to shows there. There are some people flying out and travelling many miles to see us so keep them company and meet some new friends. Click SHOWS and get the skinny on where it's going down.

We're also trying a first this weekend for My Chem- 2 shows in one day. This Saturday we have the pleasure of playing Alissa's Basement at 6:00 and then we hop in the van to make soundcheck at The Loop as soon as we finish. Eyeball label-mates, Little Joe Gould are coming out all the way from Indiana for this show so we've decided to risk health and safety to play both shows. If you've seen the shape of us after just one set you're probably curious what we will be like at the second show - so are we. I can assure you a night of "hot male action" and "stinky boys".

Also check out our good friends in The Ghost and The Exit in our links section. We had the good fortune of seeing both bands play 2 nights last weekend and they were great. Drinking in The Ghost van outside of CBs with Jordan and T-Top was definitely a plus.

I need a shave, a new dye-job, and some decongestant so I'll leave you with the image of me sitting in my house watching Mad Monster Party, moaning, sweating, boxer-clad, and trying to hit the high notes in Headfirst For Halos. - g

Oh hey Spacey, had no idea you'd been here with us on tumblr for two years already, or I would have included that in my post. Glad to see you alive and I hope you're doing well. I'm sure at this point (or I hope!) you've heard this a lot but still, thank you for the work you've done with your archiving and the meticulous documentation of it all - back in 05 I would have killed a man to hear the footage you've brought us the past few years. Really appreciate you, man.

I made this account to make announcements because I know there is a whole community here who doesn’t bother with the other socials. You just beat me to the punch in posting this! But you have much further reach than I could ever hope for, so I’m very grateful for your assistance!

Thanks for the kind words and I’m very happy with the reception of my recordings these last few years. I had always intended to put it all out there, even back then. I just couldn’t make it work. Then 15 years of life got in the way. 😂 But here we are now!

spacey recorded the band during it's early years and I wanted to post their new video and talk about their work. mcr referred to spacey in an interview on their channel "sweet dude, sweet hair, bootlegger"

they have released uploads of these early shows and have the best quality audio you could find- because they are originals. you may have seen mcr archive and myself post about these recordings but I don't think enough people know about spacey. they recorded the 2003 seton hall interview, djrosstar, loveline interviews. they recorded the first sister to sleep, jack the ripper, among other things. their yt about:

This is neat, great work! Here’s some errata, so I’m reblogging for some corrections. There may be more corrections to come, but here’s what I noticed on first glance.

LPF was not released in July. It was specifically made for that Rutland, VT show in September 2002. So yes, “released” after Bullets.

Missing reference to tour with Pencey (not sure if exact dates have been unearthed, but I believe they happened in May). One such show was at The Fire in Philly where they were booked by Santigold who worked there before she became famous and billed them as The Chemical Brothers. 😂

Here is a resource I stumbled upon when trying to straighten out some of the unlabeled master recordings. Use it with a grain of salt, but it’s somewhat comprehensive with key events and gigography.

hello, mcrmy! it is day 35 since an mcr concert, and as such i have had to resort to Drastic Measures in order to please the special interest gods. as a verified List Autistic (tm), my only recourse was to, obviously, make a colorcoded timeline of every single notable picture, audio, video, event, flyer, blog post, and more from the bullets era. obviously. this was the result of a couple of weeks in a fugue state with nothing better to do over my winter vacation. feel free to use for any of your personal mcr-induced-autism needs.

the majority of credit obviously goes to @themychemicalromancearchive , who catalogued the majority of this information - i just organized it in as close to chronological order as i could manage with information readily available through google search. setlist.fm was also a big help for listing shows undocumented in the way of video, audio, or photographs.

some of the events listed were very difficult for me to find exact dates for, forcing me to use approximates. if anyone has more exact dates for these, please feel free to reach out! in addition, if you feel that there is anything that is missing or if there are any errors that you see, id love to hear it to further edit this document for better accuracy!
