Started using phone time to read library ebooks instead of scrolling and it’s made me back into the crazy voracious reader I was at age 12. i’ve been averaging a book a day this week. everyone delete your social media and get your ass on libby

I think one thing that I love about the Inquisitor is that the writing is not trying to make them cool or funny, you know?

Like both Hawke and Rook are both in their own way intended to be cool or funny or kickass or relatable or whatever. But the Inquisitor is allowed to exist outside of that. I think you could probably make the Inquisitor be cool if you wanted to. But you can also make them be quiet and serious, or mature and dignified, or dedicated and earnest. You can also definitely play them as someone who is in their thirties or beyond and it fits with the writing. Which is very refreshing!

The cool and funny and kickass (and young!) video game protagonist is so ubiquitous, and I really love my Inquisitor because the game allows her to be just a weird nerd who was in the wrong place at the wrong time, which is something I haven't often found in other games.

the libertarian fantasy of safety regulations existing due to sadistic enjoyment of government officials oppressing the innocent small business is kind of hilarious the more you think about it. I hope there is actually a guy out there who just fucking LOVES recalling unsafe food in a sicko sort of way. i'd respect him.
