Last year's Cucurucho's fireplace stream was sweet because the holidays can be a very sad and lonely time for a lot of people, and I think the intention of this stream is to offer that same comfort.

I know this stream was a bit of a surprise for everyone, and I know many of us are probably feeling mixed emotions about it, however– Seeing a familiar face or watching characters do silly things can sometimes make a big difference for folks who are having a difficult time. I hope this stream does bring a bit of joy and comfort to folks who need it right now.

Okay the amount of sexual things I've been seeing about Philza's characters on my timeline is actually really starting to upset me now

Calling him 'gay' is one thing. Calling him derogatory sexual terms and describing sexual themes is another

Can people respect Phil's boundaries for five fucking minutes

I'm contemplating stepping away from Philza/Crow Tumblr at this point because I can't stand it

I've been thinking about rp!Phil's character arc lately, since Phil said they're all the same guy. So far, what we've got is:

-qsmp ends, Phil, Chayanne, and Lullah go to sleep at Rose's sanctuary, and Phil wakes up back in his hardcore world (with trouble remembering qsmp?)

-Phil spends a long time doing pretty much nothing but hardcore, even rejecting some invitations he received to join other SMPs

-Squidcraft, where Phil met up with his husband and a bunch of his friends, many of whom died before him (plus was just a generally traumatic experience all around)

-JoeSMP (dubiously canon), where the first thing Phil does is run off alone several thousand blocks away from everyone else

-The Realm, where Phil refuses to join a faction and moves out of the home he shares with Sneeg to do nothing but chop wood all alone

I know Phil has said that he doesn't have any lore planned for The Realm, but I can't help but be reminded of how on qsmp, after Phil got back from purgatory and reunited with his eggs, he told Chay and Lullah that if he hadn't gotten them back, he'd planned to isolate himself and become a hermit in chunk error valley. And look what's happened: Phil lost his kids (whether he fully remembers them or not), and now he's pretty consistently isolating himself (with the exception of Squidcraft, which honestly the trauma of that experience may have just served to reinforce his self isolation)

Phil: pointing at the other factions FUCK OFF.

Older Chay and Lullah 😔 I like to think they both learned from their parents and mentors so they have death-themed powers. Chay can summon the souls of those who fell in battle to aid him in the fight while Lullah summons and guides spirits through music. Being a DnD enjoyer I used two subclasses as inspiration: Barbarian path of the Ancestral guardian for Chay and Bard college of Spirits for Lullah.

Been seeing so many Bolas clips in honour of Purgatory’s one year anniversary and god I miss it so bad

I need Bolas to play something together again pleeeeease literally anything I don’t care what I just need the vibes back they’re such an amazingly chaotic group of people

Cellbit, get everyone to play Outlast Trials again. Jaiden, get everyone to do a nuzlocke competition. Charlie, drag them onto WolfQuest. Baghera, host Bolas karaoke. Phil, host a stream where everyone sees what’s the longest they can all last in a Hardcore world. Heck, Foolish, get them to play Valorant. Just something, anything, the chemistry and vibes of this group were too good to not see again

Currently enjoying the concept of phil being unable to fly around people purely bc his wings pack a bit too much power to be safe. Bro takes off and then cracks the floor underneath him. He could burst through a storm and shift the clouds with his usual casual speed. When he lands he has to be SO damn gentle about it and even then its the equivalent of wind smacking you in the face like a helicopter landing down. He himself is quite sturdy so the force of his wings doesn’t bother him much but he has ended several fights by just flying into the air for a second with his enemies just getting SENT backwards onto the ground

writing advice for characters with a missing eye: dear God does losing an eyes function fuck up your neck. Ever since mine crapped out I've been slowly and unconsciously shifting towards holding my head at an angle to put the good eye closer to the center. and human necks. are not meant to accommodate that sorta thing.

Every year I say I hate winter: it's dark, long, cold and so inconvenient where I live. All the mess on the roads and so much snow shoveling to do...

But then the first snow falls, and suddenly is so peaceful, so tranquil and quiet. It feels like I'm a small kid again. And I stand mesmerized watching it and think, "oh, buddy, I'm so sorry. I don't hate you at all, please come".
