As someone who is working on a Greek mythology comic, I have to say to all of the retelling writers out there, one of the most aggravating thing you can do and something I've seen done many times, is completely clean the wrongdoings of the god or gods who are either the main characters or supporting characters of your retelling, but make it so one specific god or more still has all of their wrongdoings from the original myths, or add stuff they've never dome before, just so you can have a villain.
