I really like this, I want more Pony insanity, more devastation that 4 people he loves and cares about are now dead (his parents, Johnny, Dallas) and maybe him not being as close with Dallas as he was Johnny makes him feel bad for not paying more attention to Dallas in life and that could be a good explanation why he's not showing up for Pony

because Pony's guilty, he doesn't have a good grasp on who Dal truly is once you get to know him well, and that Dallas is an elusive person when not tethered to something

but maybe going to Dal's actual house where his father would live rather than going to his room at Buck's and going through all his things he finds bits of Dallas in there enough to almost summon him but with Pony's own insanity.
