Album background Review of All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
All Things Must Pass is George Harrison's fourth studio album. It was recorded from May to October 1970 and was officially released on November 27th, 1970. The album has 23 songs, 2 discs, and is 1:43:33 long. This album was George Harrison's first solo album after breaking up with The Beatles. The album introduces George's slide guitar, which would later become a signature of George's music. My favorite songs on this album have to be Wah-Wah, My Sweet Lord, What is life, I'd have you anytime, and Art of Dying. It is truly hard to choose a favorite song because each and every song is unique and amazing. All Things Must Pass was successful on release, both critically and commercially. It has been certified seven times platinum, with at least 7 million albums sold. It was also placed on The Times "The 100 Best Albums of All Time," placing 79th, and on Rolling Stone "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time," being placed at 368th. In 2014, All Things Must Pass was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. This album is truly timeless and continues to be one of my favorite albums of all time. Personally, I rate this album a solid 10. The vocals, instruments, and new-sounding overdubbing help make this album a 10.

Song Of The Day - The Prettiest Star David Bowie
The Prettiest Star By David Bowie, released in 1973 on the album Aladdin Sane. Honestly one of my favorite songs to ever exist. It's such a captivating song and like many of his songs, it has such a unique tone. I think what makes this specific version stand out to me is the conspicuous sincerity in his voice which in my eyes reinforces how alluring the song is.
