A small theory about why Pink left Spinel (related to her character)

many of her lines mentions about how much she hated her past-herself-

(about how she talks to Pearl that she wants to forget all of her life before Rose, or telling Greg that it’s good to not know much of her, etc..) 

and Spinel has a lot in common with her…. maybe Pink saw herself through Spinel, a part of herself she always wanted to forget and destroy….

...Hello? Hellooo...? I hope this thing is working.... Uh, Boxten's audio log, what was this one again... three? I think three.... Maybe taking Sprout's advice of cooling off down on the floors was a bad idea... its not like there's anything down here, just, its eerie... I never realized how much I hated being alone.... I miss Poppy, and Goob, Gigi, Finn, All my friends.... Though, now that I think about it- That's probably why sprout likes to come down here...the solitude. Anyways, Onto floor 6 I guess..? Exploring is nice but I might head back up soon.... But for now, Onwards! This is Boxten, Signing off! The humans left, and time moved on. Finding themselves a year without them, the toons have been pretty resourceful and managed to fend for themselves for the time being. They had set up a garden so they could grow their own food, the electricity was still on, and oddly, trucks still made some deliveries....Like someone wanted them to survive in some distant far away place they could only dream of. That leads us to, today. A rather unfortunate day all set in motion by one silly little argument amongst friends. It was just some silly card game after all, they were adults, damn it! So, taking sprouts advice, Boxten went exploring down on the floors beneath the main center. Quickly, however, He finds himself having a sinking suspicion he's not alone.
